every single fucking day, I think maybe things are improving here and turns out I've just been made to look like an idiot again because the explanation I was given from someone who should have known what they were doing is just completely incorrect

I'm a year into this job and feel like an absolute failure almost every single day no matter how much I keep trying

like I don't think I cried this much when I was in audit. at least that was just intense pressure from long hours and lack of sleep. this job feels like it's obliterated my career

finally convinced my husband that after we get a smaller desk set up for him (which we are doing today) and shift everything on one of our walls down, we will have space for a small chest freezer.

and now we're off to consider our options today. i am getting closer to my goal of making almost all of our food from scratch

did an internal interview for a role a couple of weeks ago and in the middle of the interview, it just hit me that I didn't even want it because this entire place is just a bad fit for me.

anyway, didn't get the role for exactly the weaknesses I knew I had in the interview. like I realized as I was interviewing how much I've stagnated in this current role in the past year. but apparently I had the technical knowledge and skill but who cares when networking is more important
