You blink at the sudden stab of pain in your side, finally letting out a wince.

‘Can you stop daydreaming about Mr Kim please? And maybe focus on the class for once?’ You flush and rub your side, sticking your tongue out at her.

She responds with a roll of her eyes, her finger pointing to the corner of your lips with a blank expression.

‘You’re going to start dancing in your drool soon.’ You look at her and let out a sarcastic laugh before subtly touching your mouth with the back of your hand, blushing even more when you realise she’s just teasing you, the girl laughing loudly.

‘Seriously! You need to start taking away the dances instead of leaving the class with more material of our dance teacher for your dirty deeds.’ She says cheekily only for her smile to drop in utter embarrassment, your own body freezing as a shadow suddenly falls over the two of you.

‘Although that’s extremely flattering.’ Jongin says with a soft grin, an eyebrow raised. ‘I’d rather appreciate it if you two ladies could stand up like the rest of your peers so we can start our run through.’

‘I’m ready to die of mortification.’ You moan to yourself when you finally stumble out of class, Jongin laughing besides you as you still for the second time that day, mentally glaring up at the sky.

‘You do seem to have the worst timing around me.’ He teases, looking down at you with a smile when you finally turn to him, watching the male push the strap of his duffel bag further up his shoulder.

‘Mr Kim…’ You start with a stutter that only exists around him, flushing when he shakes his head, his smile widening.

‘The crush you have on me really is adorable.’ He says with clear amusement, his eyes gleaming along with his words. ‘But I do want you to know, you’re my student. I care for you just like the others in class. Nothing more.’ He finishes off gently.

‘If you were a few years older however, I probably would have thought about it, but you’re not.’ He grins and steps forward, using his hand to ruffle your hair.

‘So focus on what I teach before I threaten to kick you out of my class.’ He gives you a look and points, his eyes narrowed in a joking manner. ‘Got it?’

Oh you heard him.

Loud and clear.

‘Mr Kiiiim~’ You sing cheerfully, the dance teacher turning to find you drop a hamper basket on his desk. 

Jongin blinks and watches you wink before swaying your hips along with your walk, making him groan in utter incredulity. He slaps his face before rubbing it lightly.

His talk with you had only made things worse.
