"Ne.. You.. I believe I saw you the other day. Have you played GGO recently?"

'GGO…?'

"Ah, no, I don’t think I have, but… Sounds familiar." What’s with random people approaching him and asking him weird things? This happened much too often.

┃║☉║┃─ "Ah, sorry. You just looked familiar," she replied, looking down, embarrassed with herself. This wasn’t the first time she had mistaken someone in the real world for someone in GGO. "Ah, GGO is Gun Gale Online. It’s a VRMMORPG for the AmuSphere."

image

"It’s alright. Thanks.. for telling me about it, though, it sounds interesting." He’s… never heard of an "AmuSphere" though. Maybe he should look into it…? Yeah, that sounded good. "…What makes me look familiar, though?" The ravenette tilted his head quizzically.

Image

┃║☉║┃─ "I suppose it's no problem, even though our meeting was mostly unintentional, due to the mere fact that I don't know you. Also, I'd recommend forgetting about this conversation. GGO is not a game you should look into, especially if you're good with shooting a gun. It's a dangerous game, and the higher-skilled players are the most likely to get killed." She spoke in a soft tone, but she looked completely serious. Of course, with someone like him, who didn't seem to know jack about VRMMORPGs, she didn't expect him to take her seriously, at all. "Well, you see.. A lot of men in the gaming community look a lot like yourself. Dark hair, lazily slapped on clothing, and messy hair."

┃║☉║┃─ "Very well. It’s no problem," she responded, before looking down. "I guess it’s for the best, anyways. GGO is really dangerous right now. There’s a.. murderer, I guess you could call it. That’s why I was in a hurry. I think I know where he’s spawned at. I don’t want anymore innocent people to die."

"A Murderer? in a game?" he asked, eyes wide, "is that even possible?", he had known rumors, about the ability of killing someone in a game, but he was sure that incident was dealt with! what is going on?

image

┃║☉║┃─ "Yes, it is apparently very possible. There was already been multiple victims," she hissed, as she stared blankly at the ground, as if she was in a daze.

"He goes by the name 'Death Gun' which happens to be the name of his weapon. He's very agile and stealthy- I've never heard of anybody even landing a single shot on him. Yet, somehow.. Whoever he shoots in-game seems to die in the real world, due to acute heart failure."

┃║☉║┃─ Sinon knew her way around pretty well, so she took her time strolling through the city. She’s been through this place more than enough times to know what she was doing.. but she couldn’t shake the fact that she felt.. different. She stopped walking for a moment, before leaning against a small rail, looking over the lower parts of the city.

After taking a quick break, she quickly turned away from the railing to continue her stroll.. but she noticed someone staring at her. He was staring at her, right? ..How long had he been watching her? Her curiosity only grew as she attempted to ignore him. Finally giving up, she waltzed over to him; her rifle still in hand.

"Can I help you?"

He watched her look at him, next walking over to him. He looked right at her not stirred by her abrupt ask.

"Who are you," Was the only thing he asked. Most people would want to know what brought them to this city, however Yuri just wanted to learn who this new girl was. Finding out why she was here could come after his first question.

┃║☉║┃─ Ah? What an odd question. He instantly wanted to know who she was-- He seemed.. a tad bit intimidating, to be honest, but she didn't let any anxiousness surface.

"My name is Sinon. You may refer to me as Sinon or Hecate. Who might you be?" She questioned, quirking a brow at the boy. Honestly.. It was obvious it was a guy, but.. such long hair. He could be easily mistaken for a girl. This wasn't the first time she'd come across a guy like this while strolling through the city, though. But.. Who was he? Why was he here? In a way, he seemed suspicious.

"Um.. Sir..? Are you lost?"

Avatar

It was obvious that he was very lost. Kano didn’t even know where he was to begin with! Last he remember, he had been asleep in his room playing a computer game under Shintaro’s suggestion. It was certain that he’d never trust that no good NEET ever again after this stunt! But wait, this could have just been a dream…

"No, Actually I’m doing quite fine on my own, but do you mind pinching me on the arm?

┃║☉║┃─ Sinon gave the blonde an almost.. unamused stare, if you would. Just by looking at him, the tealette could tell he wasn’t much of a gamer. No armor, weapons, and his expression.. What a liar. "You’ve never played on an AmuSphere, have you?" She questioned, in response to his request. "Though you may feel pain here, nothing affects your physical body. I can get shot right now, and I would scream in pain, but my body in the real world wouldn’t feel a thing. Pinching you will do nothing, sorry."

What was up with this guy? Had he been tricked into playing GGO, or something? "You know, this game is in a dangerous state, at the moment. There’s a murderer on the loose. I’m sure you’ve heard of him. ‘Death Gun’ is what he goes by. You don’t even have any armor or weapons. You’re going to get yourself killed if you’re found by Death Gun. I’d suggest going to a shop."

What was this? A dangerous state, she says and yet Kano still doubts the sanity of this situation. Trapped? In a Game? That Shintaro really was no good, after all. No use fretting about it, though. The female must know what she’s doing considering her attire; Well prepared to face some sort of, ‘Death Gun’ that he presumed was a far greater challenge than she.

image

Fine, I’ll follow your advice, but I’m sure none of the items they have to offer is free… and if you take notice of my beginnership, I must be broke. Do you have a spare of change?" He mused, opening his palms and expecting her wage in return.

┃║☉║┃─ Naturally, any newbie to GGO should start off with 1,000 credits. Though.. for proper armor, a weapon, and ammunition, it'll take much more than 1,000 credits. With a sigh, she pulled up her menu, and brought up the trade screen. She hovered over his name, and entered 500,000 credits into her side of the trade. Sending the credits over to him, her gaze met his; her menu bar soon disappearing. "Your username is Kano. That's also a real name. Perhaps it's yours?"

Image

It wasn't really creative, but it was a nice name, at least. Then again, he might have been forced to play this game, so thinking of a username for himself was probably out of the question. He's lucky they didn't give him some ridiculous username, at least.
