I don’t think bombing civilians in war torn countries is an unfortunate necessity like it literally doesn’t have to happen and I don’t understand how people can be so indifferent about it if their team is doing it....you know 90% of the victims of Obama’s air strikes were civilians. And civilian means woman, girl, or male child under fighting age. Adult men weren’t counted towards civilian death tolls. So the actual civilian death toll is closer to 100%. Our military is literally a terrorist organization and nobody cares as long as the president is a decent orator. All of those people are just as real as you are. A million innocent people have died as a result of the Iraq war both directly and indirectly and only a handful of us seem to lose any sleep over the fact that this terrorism is done in our names witn our money. People talk about them like they’re cockroaches. It makes me sick to my stomach

the son of hyun jung grant (kim) is running a gofundme to support him and his younger brother, as she was a single mother taking care of them both, and the two are now completely on their own. the gfm has technically passed its goal, but im sure they need all the help they can get. (this gfm is verified by someone who knows one of the sons irl)

Tonight (March 17 2021) in Atlanta, at least eight workers are dead after a series of targeted shootings in massage spas. The shooting is the latest in escalating Anti-Asian hate crimes, which have increased nearly 150% over the past year alone.

as someone who got my start in activism or whatever by doing anti-war organizing under the Obama administration… let me tell you, pay attention to foreign policy under Biden. pay attention to the war machine. I don’t think things will look rosy and repaired on the home front either, but I know that the brutality of US empire will continue absolutely unabated on the global stage. trying to mobilize against that is difficult and maddening, but we’ve got to do it. and it’ll teach you a lot about the true orientation of this country, whatever color the administration is.

repeating this again because of the airstrikes in Syria - pay attention to the war machine! violence for profit remains the core of this rotting country, it’s not even hidden in the least.
