i drew this little friend and i dont know what he is but i love him

that is so unnecessary and violent and rude he did nothing wrong he is standing there smiling and you punch him in his face/stomach he doesn’t even have arms to defend himself this is just cruel and sadistic

i gave him a little straw so he could drink his tea and a blanket to keep him warm. i hope he feels better.

So I went to the assessment centre today for the graduate program and made it through to the final round with the case study and interview. Don't wanna overanalyse or get my hopes up, what's done is done and I will know whether or not I am successful by next week. Tomorrow I hand in my final assessment for Uni for this year. 10 months of stress, deadlines, and breakdowns is coming to an end. Good job, me. Gonna reward myself by chilling the fuck out and having a fucking life here and there. Sleep. Read. Gym goals. Josh. Human interaction with people I want to be around.

Hit a 20-lb PR today on my deadlift!

455 lbs for a single. No belt or straps.

I hit 445 lbs before this and it was smoother than smooth. Easy. So I slapped another 10 lbs on.

455 got in my head like WHOA at the end. Broke the floor easy enough but lockout just wasn’t cooperating. I’ve watched this clip about 25 times and I can see where my errors are – and they’re only there because the weight actually intimidated at the very last second.

So yeah it was a bit grindy and not perfect. But it still looks pretty clean to me, so I’m claiming this as my new max.

I can only go up from here – I’m only 45 lbs away from a 500 lb deadlift!!!

I’m giving 500 lbs a good 6-8 months. We’ll see if I can make it happen in that timeframe!

One more day of prac! Allowing myself a nap before baking cupcakes for the students, creating a card for the class, and buying my mentor teacher a gift basket. Massage straight after school tomorrow. 10 months of 7 days a week will finally be over on Tuesday 😁

Feeling a little overwhelmed and done with everything so I’m going to do a countdown.

16 days until I finish Prac. While it is a great experience and is incredibly important, it is a whole other level of exhaustion. I can work 15 hour days and make it to the gym, but being a classroom all day only to go home and prepare lessons, find resources, and mark work is draining. Physical exhaustion is nothing on mental exhaustion.

20 days until my next day off.

23 days until presentation at uni.

29 days until I hand everything in for uni and am 100% done with the semester! I will actually be able to enjoy my 2 days off.
