Azure was late getting home from work today. He really hoped he didn’t worry Hannah, because he knew she wasn’t feeling too well, so he stopped by a nearby fast food joint, and got something to bring home. 

The moment he stepped in the door, he called out, “I’m home!” Before shrugging off his trench-coat, and hanging it up near the door, and headed straight into the living room, “Hannah?” He called out.

The long haired wife and mother groaned as she hid herself in a courner in the living room. "I'm here..." She mumbled looking sadly up at her husband. The day had just been awful since she woke up. 

"What did you bring into my house?" She asked, wrinkling her nose as the smell of the food hit her hard. normally she hated fast food anywhere near her home but today she just really wanted anything to eat. 

  Azure laughed as he walked around the car, and held the door open for Hannah, “Well, Delphox helped quite a bit, so I can’t take all the credit.”

After Hannah sat down in the car, he closed the door and walked around to the other side to get into the driver seat. He knew just the street to drive too as well. It was on the way to the Gym, and he passed by it in the day all the time. Nearly every house on this street was decorated, but he didn’t get the chance to see it, because it was daylight whenever he drove by.

He quickly put the car into gear, and backed out of the driveway, and down the street towards town, “We’ll have to take the kids out when they come home.” He said, “They used to love going light-seeing when they were little.”

Light seeing with the kids? That sounded amazing to the mother. She sighed happily and looked out the window. 

"I wonder if Zaffre's little friend has ever gone light seeing before? Or has has snow? I think she is from hoenn so this could be her first time with snow!" She spoke excitedly and placed her hand on its usual spot on Azure's knee.

She looked over at him and grinned wider then before. "I want to make this Chirstmas the best for them. Who knows if next year they will want to come home for it." She sighed dramatically before slumping into her seat. She quickly moved her hand off his knee to turn on the seat warmers for both of them and replaced her hand. 

"Now we wont freeze to death." She joked 

  Azure just smirked and draped her jacket over Hannah’s shoulders. He cast Hannah a playful glance, and buttoned up the first few buttons of her jacket, before leaning in, and kissed her on the lips.

"Now you’re ready." He said as he pulled away from her.

He reached down and wrapped one hand around her waist, and used the other to open the door, before walking out on the freshly-shoved walkway, from the house to the driveway.

He paused for a minute to look at their own Christmas lights, before heading out down the driveway towards the car.

"Let’s drive into town. There isn’t much out here. We can park in town and take a walk down a more busy street." He said, cheerfully.

She rolled her eyes and gave him a playful smile. What he lacked in getting hints he made up for in kisses and his thoughtfulness. She returned the kiss quick enough before he pulled away. 

Hannah paled slightly thinking about driving in the car. "S-Sure love! Let's just make sure we have a plastic bag in case I get sick." She chuckled nervously. Downside of being pregnant again, the sickness that came with it.

His idea was great though. The houses in town would be much better then the lone ones in the middle of no where. "Thank you for shoveling by the way. I saw you doing it this morning. This the extra hot chocolate." 

  "Oh no. You’re wearing a coat too." Azure replied instantly, "The last thing I want is for you to get sick, or for the baby to get cold."

He gently squeezed her hand, before releasing it, and walked over to the coat room. Before she could protest, he pulled her coat off the rack, and draped it over her shoulders, before reaching up for his trench-coat.

Pikachu came running from the living room, the moment she heard the rustle of leather, and did a flying-leap onto Azure’s shoulders, before he even had time to put his coat on. He rolled his eyes at his Pikachu, before turning back to Hannah.

"Seams like someone’s ready to go. How about you?" He smiled.

Hannah was pulling on her  light blue scarf as pikachu jumped up on her trainer. A loud laugh sounded from her as she looked over at the pair.She glanced down and lifted up the small cubchoo that was tottering by.

"I'm ready now. I think honey wants to go with us." She nuzzled the forever baby pokemon happily and kissed it's nose sweetly. The cub squealed happily as more of the frozen snot hung from its's nose.

 She hoped th baby pokemon would be a good distraction so she didn't have to wear a jacket. But maybe it was for the best? Nah she never wore a jacket with the twins. why would this time be different?

Azure smiled, and held his wife’s hand in his own, before stretching his other hand in the air, “How about we go for a walk? Some fresh air right now sounds nice, and at this time, I bet all the Christmas Lights down the street are on?”

"I would love to see the lights with you." She whispered to him, smiling more at him. She brushed her thumb against his hand and squeezed it tight. "A walk sounds amazing right now, just get on you jacket~ All I need is a scarf." The only time of the year she loved being from Sinnoh. Cold never bothered her.

  "Yup… more daipers, and vomit, and sticky baby food, and keeping the baby away from the Pokemon." He joked, "At least this time around, we’ll know what we’re doing a little better!"

He kissed her back, “It’ll be nice when there’s some noise around here again. I almost can’t wait for the twins to come home!”

She stared at him with a look of disbelief. Was he still this tense after this long? Apparently so! She laughed and shook her head.

"Noise will be welcomed but everything else, not so much. But yes we can take care of him better now we have experience." She smiled softly and took her husband's hand into hers. 

           ”Thank you." Taking the cookie that he was offered, he held it up so she could tap her’s against his. "To a good year for the both of us, may all our dreams come true, and if not, may our goals come one step closer!”

She tapped it cheerfully and bit a huge chuck off the cookie. She couldnt have said it better she thought. Man Cilan always knew what to say sometimes!

  Azure made a face, somewhere between upset and amused, “Well, you know, they’ll be teenagers in April after all…”

Ugh. Now he really felt old. He was too young to be the father to two teenagers!

Hannah laughed at the face he pulled. "Oh god Azure! Don't remind yourself. At least I'm younger then you~" She teased, leaning up to kiss him softly.

"Hey see it this way. At least we will fit in now at the parks when the baby boy is born."

Hannah rolled her eyes. "Azure. He isn't gonna do anything. Not with Delia traveling with them." She placed her head on his chest and groaned.

"Please don't remind me about them growing up. I feel old when you do. And I'm having another one to watch get old." 

Hannah nodded slowly. Sweater. She would make him a sweater for sure. “Okay! I’ll get you something that matches you perfectly Clian! It’s a promise.” She laughed sweetly. He would looked good in green of course. Maybe yellow?

            Happiness was taking over Cilan as he smiled softly. “I appreciate that, Hannah, thank you for taking the time for me." He bowed a little before holding out a small box. "Here, did you want a cookie? It’s freshly baked gingerbread.”

Her mouth watered smelling the cookies in the box. "Oh thank you so much. I can't remember that last time I had one." She grinned before sneaking two out. Offering one to Clian of course. 

"We shall toast to a good year with cookies."

[text] As soon as you can get here love. I miss you both so much. Don’t forget to bring your little friend over okay? She can sleep in delia’s room if that isn’t an issue.

Hannah happily walked around the house , dusting and preparing for her little ones to come home.
