Of all times for her to have a wardrobe malfunction, tonight was not it. Not when she was flying solo without a glam squad, and definitely not when this was her first major gala appearance after a pretty successful fashion week. She was officially existing in a world where people now held some expectations of her, and she was going to utterly blow it all because she had the unfortunate luck of standing next to Damon freakin’ Salvatore at the bar.
Caroline held up the broken strap of her dress as she tried to get a better look of the damage in the mirror when a voice sounded off to her side.
“Need some help, love?”
