alright, i told ya I'd listen to anything and everything and i took my time to do the damn thing. here's the verdict.

all the ways i could die: this vocalist has such smooth, clear vocals. short but sweet. the sort of polished pop punk that is really accessible to people with various genres preferences. i like what i heard and i'm going to listen to more of this band.

i deserve to bleed: oof. this one's not for me because unfortunately i was in that exact spot for several years of my life. the artist on undoubtedly talented but i don't think i can comfortably jam this one.

j's lullaby: this one is so sweet and romantic. reminds me of falling in love before you know if the other person even likes you back. soft and pretty vocals.

family: strong vocals and good production. painful lyrics delivered really passionately. i liked this song.

taxidermy girl: y'allternative jam. fun, morbid lyricism laid over an upbeat twang. i like it.

the shower scene: i have heard about this band but never explored them before this. i totally get it now. really nice clean vocals. those lyrics hit close. i can tell they have songs heavier than this one and i'd like to hear them.

what if it doesn't end well: ah, relationships. i get it. pretty, yearning, insecure.

forefathers (stripped back): ohhhhhh beautiful vocals. bro play the geetar nicely. fresh sound that you can tell comes from dark, narrative country music influence.

a night at the spleen: the guitar in this song is awesome. tempo changes are fun and engaging. reminds me of dance gavin dance a bit musically. i really like this one.

get to me: awesome voice. love the acoustic guitar arrangement. mournful, yearning sound. i want to hear more from this artist.

dear brother: such a good voice! the strings make this special. played the fuck out of that violin! the horn was so good. you were right to recommend this version. i like it.

thank you for sharing all of this with me. hit my ask box if you want any recommendations! lmk what genre you want more of and i think i can match it based on what you sent me.
