Aerleus sat beside her on the sofa his hands reaching up to trace the length of her spine. Her skin was so soft, so warm, Aerleus couldn’t resist the urge to press his palm into it and leech some of the heat as his other hand moved up and down her back, drawing patterns with his index finger as he mapped out in his mind what he wished to draw. Last time it had been flowers, his lips twitched upwards into a small smile at the memory. He couldn’t believe he had gotten so carried away with himself, but that tended to happen when he was painting. He traced the curve of her shoulder blades when an idea sprung to his mind. Although as his finger met the border of Kir’s bra his brows came together in an expression between thoughtfulness and sheepishness. He could always paint around it? But what he had planned would set right across where the strip of fabric lay. His finger traced the length of it and he clicked his tongue. Well, he could always ask, right?

“Would you.. perhaps.. consider removing your bra?” Aerleus asked as he turned away from her to fuss with his paints, only so she wouldn’t see his darkening face. Hopefully she wouldn’t see it as him being lewd or inappropriate, because that was not the case.

“Just the idea I have.. the fabric gets in the way..” He added as an afterthought to explain himself.

As he waited for her answer he set out his paints and rolled up his sleeves. His fingers brushed the white and he removed the lid, setting it down on the counter lightly. His fingers found a paintbrush in the roll of fabric which housed them and he twirled it between his index and middle fingers before dipping it in and testing the paint on his skin. It was barely noticeable on his skin, pale and washed out. But it would stand out against her beautiful blue skin.

He waited to hear her answer before he turned around again, not wanting to turn around as she was removing it and see her bare torso. The thought just warmed his cheeks, but he pushed it aside. Eyes closing as his mind went back to the piece he was going to create on her.

Akirlia made herself comfortable upon the couch, closing her eyes as she felt Aerleus' cool hand run across her spine. Though she tried to bite her lip to stifle her voice, a soft moan escaped her, a blush coloring her cheeks as he continued to trace the skin of her back. Goosebumps arose as his cool fingers touched her warm skin, and she licked her lips, peering over her shoulder as his soft voice met her pointed ears.

"My...bra?" she repeated with a raised brow. Her lips curved into the slightest of smiles as she noticed his reaction, busying himself with the paints he had brought out. She knew he wasn't trying anything on her...it was not in his nature to do such a thing, and she had complete trust in him.

"If it helps you," she murmured, suddenly timid as she reached behind her back, her slender fingers fumbling with the latch, with less grace than she normally had. The black material became unlatched, and she allowed the bra to fall down over her shoulders, discarding it upon the arm of her chair. While she was perfectly comfortable to sit there without covering, she reached for a blanket, hugging it to her chest as her silvery eyes met his icy blue, her lips curved into a smile. "Whenever you're ready, Aerleus," she said softly, a purr in her voice as his name rolled off her tongue.

Running her hand through her blonde hair, she brought it before her, keeping it out of the way of Aerleus' brush, her fingers twirling about in the golden strands. Her eyes focused on the armrest before her, her brows raising in thought. What was he going to pain upon her? What kind of masterpiece would Akirlia find, painted upon the skin on her back? She nearly wiggled in anticipation, the thought of it causing her smile to widen even further, looking over her shoulder as he began his ministrations.

"Hey, Aer?" she murmured softly, glancing at him. "What is it you're going to paint? Unless you want to keep it a surprise for me..."

Exodar Visitor

As Akirlia opened the door to the shop Torena sniffed appreciatively of all the glorious smells wafting her way and her mouth began to water with anticipation. “Ooh that smells lovely” she said as they went to a table and sat down.

“Would you order for me as I am not familiar with local dishes and I am sure I will like what you chose?” she asked “I would be happy to pay my way but as long as you are sure then it will be my treat next time” Torena reached across the table and squeezed Akirlia’s hand in gratitude, she noticed the slight flush to Akirlia’s face but decided not to comment. Maybe she had embarrassed her but she hoped not.

“I am sure Artaq will get along with Shatterstar he has met many different mounts and is quite easy going” Torena stated with a smile “he is a very patient animal and is used to having to wait around for me” she had not missed the sidelong looks from the other Draenei as they passed the pair but she chose to ignore them, if Akirlia was not bothered then neither was she.

Torena smiled as Akirlia said she new the Exodar well “I would love to see the Crystal Hall and the Vault of Lights I have heard they are rather spectacular, I would also be pleased to visit the central hall which I have been told is the Seat of Naaru” she could feel her excitement building at the prospect “If you think that would be okay?”

Torena blushed then “I am so sorry but I am so excited to finally be able to see the places I have only heard of from others that I feel like a child being taken to the fair for the first time” she gave Akirlia the biggest smile she could muster and then focused on looking around the shop to try and settle herself down before breakfast.

The aromas that wafted through the shop caused Akirlia's stomach to rumble once again, and her mouth began to water in anticipation to the wondrous meal that they were about to behold. Sure, it was merely breakfast, but even still, it was bound to be an extravagant meal. Taking a seat, Akirlia gave Torena a sheepish smile, nodding her head in agreement as the woman took her hand. "Alright," she said. "That sounds like a deal."

Pulling a menu closer to them, Akirlia's eyes scanned the breakfasts they could choose from, and she came upon a dish, feeling good about the choice. "You might like this," she said, pointing to the selection. "It's like the human pancake, but thinner, lighter, and much sweeter. They're usually served with fruit, and kind you like!" She smiled, licking her lips at the sound of it. "I might go with it, myself, actually! What do you think?"

As Torena spoke of her mount, Akirlia nodded, taking it what the woman had to say. "Shatterstar is the same way, actually. She's been around all sorts of creatures, though I think horses intrigue her the most. I'm not sure if it's good or bad that she has such a liking for them, but as long as they don't harm each other, everything will be fine."

As the server came, Akirlia ordered them both the same meal, differing on only their choice of fruit, and they were alone again, Akirlia nodding at what she said. "That's completely fine with me! The Exodar is a beautiful place, and we'll take in as much as we can, and as much as you're up for, as well!"

A chuckle ecaped her as she shook her head, raising a hand. "No need to apologize, Torena!" she mused with a smile. "It doesn't seem like the Exodar gets many visitors aside from the Draenei...I feel as though people are intimidated by it, sometimes. I'd be glad to show you any place that makes you happy!"

The Carnival

Shanarra focused on the game, taking a couple of shots that weren’t too far off centre. She grinned to herself, quite proud that she was still quite good at it even though she’d not practised with a bow or gun for years. Even the gaggle behind them didn’t put her off, and she took her final shot with ease.

As she placed the rifle down for the booth owner to reload it, she heard Akirlia talk to her and turned her head inquisitively. The druid glanced over her shoulder, her expression an almost exact mirror of Kir’s as she spotted who the draenei was referring to. Making sure that she had her back to them, and the human at the booth wasn’t looking either, Shanarra moved her mouth in a mocking fashion, imitating Anara in a rather juvenile way. She giggled at herself and settled down so Kir could have her next go.

Her brows raised so high when her friend hit the target dead-on they almost disappeared into her hair, and the Night elf gave a slow clap.

“I’d say so!” she exclaimed. She made like she was writing a note on her own palm. “Memo to me… Never piss Kir off and hand her a gun!”

Shan glanced back again, eyeing the group as they got closer. Part of her wanted the snobs to notice her so she could wind them up, but the other part wanted them just to float on by so they didn’t upset Akirlia any further. This was their day to relax and have fun as friends, and woe betide anyone who tried to spoil it. Especially just for petty jealousy. Perhaps without Lothros and Vagath, they wouldn’t recognise her in her costume, and therefore might miss Kir too…

The shrill giggles were not allowed to get Akirlia down; the Draenei focused harder and harder on the game, imagining the floating targets to be the face of the one she loathed most. Childish? Perhaps, but anything to keep the monk from turning on her heel to give the human woman a piece of her mind. Of course, she knew that it was exactly what Anara wanted.

Akirlia knew that Shanarra could sense her own hostilities, and the Draenei knew that her friend's feelings were the same as her own, though not as heated nor as passionate. Akirlia snorted as Shanarra spoke, and the blonde shook her head, giving her a sheepish shrug. "I don't think you'll have to worry too much about that, Shan," she said with a wink. "I don't really like guns, you know? My fists are more powerful than that." Her smirk widened and she straightened up, rolling her shoulders and popping her neck, setting down the gun. "I've made more men run, terrified, from be with my hands, rather than a weapon."

Waiting until she heard them pass, Akirlia turned around again, her tail swishing idly from side-to-side, and she twirled her hair around her finger, her eyes focusing on the festivities around them. There was so much to do, it seemed, and not enough time to do it all! Her nose wrinkled as she thought about it, and then she turned to Shanarra, tilting her head in question.

"What do you think we should do next?" she asked as her eyes wandered over a caricature booth. "There are so many things to do...and not enough time! It's a shame that this Carnival doesn't last for much longer...though I hear that the Exodar is hosting an event that is known to all Draenei within the month. Maybe you'd like to go when it comes around?" She smiled at her friend, her eyes shining. Once a year, the Draenei would gather together to celebrate their safety upon Azeroth, and the occasion was usually a joyous one."
