Shouts to @davidzheng, @yokothebear and @etiolatify for helping me get through the polling lines with my dignity intact. If I can be bothered to go out and #vote, so can you. :^) #indiana (at Hamilton County Courthouse)

Got to shoot with this totally zany local Chicago band, the lead vocalist is especially edgy and is known for his unique ad libs featuring frog noises. Photo by @keipunipuni!

The hustle in the air of NY is almost tangible, I'm taking a jar of it back with me to Chicago. (at Brooklyn, New York)

Catch the handsome man on the right at the underground Chicago invitational, Ganon Towers III! Bear witness to the golden voice of Webs and perhaps a few not-so-sober companions tonight at 7pm CST, live: http://twitch.tv/MeleeEveryday (at San Jose Convention Center)

I'm already starting to get hype for #G4 in January. Genesis 3 was one of my favorite tournament experiences of all time, such a next level production. Plus being California again will be sick. Also, I hope PPMD will be there! I miss seeing all the gods together. http://smash.gg/g4 (at City National Civic)

Hosting Super Smash Bros. tournaments at dope Chicago venues wasn't exactly part of my exit plan during college, but I take those! This was from Ganon Towers II, an invitational at Marina City. #ssbm (at Marina City)

This theater is covered with patterns but the building itself breaks up the pattern of bricked buildings throughout this town. Brilliant. That's not why I took this photo, though. I just really liked those blue jumpsuits. (at Young Vic Theatre)

Have you ever looked down and thought to yourself, "what's the point?" I cope with it by distracting myself with Instagram. 😉 (at Park Plaza County Hall Hotel)

If you play Melee, you probably live life 4 stocks at a time. Four is also the number of death in Japan. This structure looks like the number 4 when you look at it from the right angle, otherwise it looks like a bad game of Tetris. (at Channel 4)

If the younger generation makes you feel stupid, then that means the youth is learning faster then the last generation. Which means the older generation did their job of creating a brighter future for the younger folks. So if you feel stupid around young people then you're doing alright, right? Louie C.K. poses this question in his TV show, which I definitely recommend if you're a fan of dark, depressing humor. (at South Bank River Thames)

There's a lot of textures and reflections to look at but my favorite part about this scene is probably the surveillance camera, even though it takes up only 1% of the frame. It's a tiny camera but has the strongest presence in the image because of the meaning its gaze holds. It means someone cared about the doors to this building enough to install a camera looking down on them and nothing else 24/7 for the rest of eternity. It would probably be boring to be that surveillance camera, so when this person on their phone walked by, giving that camera something new to look at, I felt happy for it and had to capture this moment in Instagram form. It seems like @frostickle is never at any one place for too long so I was glad to be able to catch a moment with him in London when he was in Europe for the VIZBI science conference. Lucky for us he takes great photos on the way- definitely check out his Instagram. (at Royal Exchange, London)
