Paramount+ have cancelled Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies and they are taking it off the site all together.
If you’re not aware of the show it’s a prequel to the Grease movies. It focuses on 4 girls who are each outcasts in their own way, and they find their way to each other and create the Pink Ladies.
The music, the storyline and the characters are INCREDIBLE! I can’t praise this show enough.
I’m so mad because this show does deal with LGBTQIA+ and other important themes, we have a character who finds out she’s lesbian and another who is gay (it’s implied but not directly said). The fact they are erasing the show all together after so many people have found themselves relating to these characters and have found comfort in them is absolutely devastating! And during pride month?!
So to Paramount+… fuck you!

A brain worm I will expand on eventually: Lydia is deathly afraid of Cynthia’s motorbike and vehemently refused to go anywhere near it until Cynthia pointed out that Lydia holding onto her when they rode is probably the closest they would ever be able to safely get to public displays of affection and she begrudgingly made her peace with it
