But anyway, we sent in an EMBARK DNA test and got his results back tonight! We always thought he was a Border Collie x Shetland Sheepdog mix because that is what his previous owners told us and oh boy were they wrong.
He is 40% Collie. 13% Beagle. 10% GSD. 8% Mini Schnauzer. 6% Husky. 6% Cocker Spaniel. 7% ‘SuperMutt’ (Maybe Blue Lacy and Bearded Collie)

Hey guys. Would any of you be interested in commissioning me? I’m having surgery and need some extra cash to help us get by and pay the bills (including Lotta’s vet bill which is currently the biggest by far). I do high quality digital drawings of dogs and cats. Due to it being kind of an emergency (5 days till surgery and each drawing takes its sweet time oops??) I will be selling them for a steal at 60-70 dollars a piece (depending on difficulty) with a 45% discount for any additional orders. I am willing to take orders and start the commission without pay if anyone needs to wait for next months paycheck as long as it is 100% confirmed that it can be paid off. 5 months and 12(almost 13) yrs
Lady found a dead dried-up toad on our walk and rolled in it and I dont have the energy to give her a bath tonight. So Im gonna lay in bed with a dog wearing toad jerky perfume. Excellent.
Jackson is 4.5 months now. Such a big, handsome, goofy boy
Chewy sent us a free portrait and a get well card after her surgery! Its amazing, I cant wait to hang it up in my room with all my other corgi-related artwork!
We went to the local training center today where they were having a ‘fun day’ where you could try out different sports. I tried Jack with Barn hunt and Lure coursing. He was super into the rats (and they offer a course on it, so we might look into that) but not so much the lure. Lady didnt get to go because her mouths still healing.
Lady had her surgery today and it went good! She’ll have to eat canned food for a while but Im sure she wont complain about that. They took out her big back chomper teeth :(
