Also another update! Im 19weeks pregnant 😆 night shift is really taking its toll on me and I'm not sure how long I can keep it up so fingers crossed I can cut back soon!

Hello followers, sorry I havent posted in so long. I have actually been struggling alot with work lately and haven't felt too excited / positive about things. Im sure most of you in the industry will go through these feelings. I am mainly feeling disappointed in peoples lack of respect and gratitude for what it is that we do. Im overwhelmed with the constant guilting from clients that I face, I am hearing things on a daily like "you dont care about animals" "you just care about money" "so your going to let my pet die then" blah blah blah. I am struggling to understand why people think I should be doing my job for free, I would love to do it just for the love of animals but that doesn't pay my bills and put food on the table. No one would work for free and I would never expect anyone to do so, so why is it expected of me? My job is highly skilled and took years of training and is often very stressful not to mention I am awake from 8pm - 8am treating your animal. To be honest if I was in it for the money I would not be doing this job! Considering what it is that I do and the physical and emotional strain it puts on my body I get paid peanuts! Pets are a luxury and not a necessity so if you cannot afford the vet please dont get a pet or look into pet insurance because I shouldn't have to cop so much abuse day in and day out because you cant afford to treat your pet 😧
