We keep cats around the barracks to help with pest control really. Levi certainly doesn’t mind them and the one I’m holding here is called Jade I believe. She’s the one that gets stuck in small places apparently…

There’s nothing wrong with not finishing your goals or seeing the end of your dreams. They give us all something to live for and look forward to. That’s what is most important really. Some even say that it’s best if we never achieve our goals or dreams…

While I do think of the whole of the Scouts as my family… But I don’t have any children of my own so I have no idea where this question came from.

Every one misses me? How can you all miss me if I’m here in my office doing paperwork? Oh… I understand. Please don’t tell Levi I’ve been in my office doing paperwork for three days. He will be very upset to know that.

Alternate lives is certainly an interesting concept. I don’t know if I believe in it though… If they were a thing I would hope I got to meet Levi and the others again but how I would is a very good question. I honestly don’t know.

Do I believe that there is a heaven? Of course I do. I would be foolish not to. But I know it is no place for a man like me. The only place that awaits me is Hell.
Have you ever seen Levi smile?
Have I seen Levi smile? Of course I have. I’ve seen him smile many times over the years but he doesn’t just smile for any old reason. It can take a lot to see a smile on that face but when he does smile? It lights up his whole face. A truly special sight.
Thank you all for the lovely birthday messages you sent me yesterday. I had a day full of rest (much to my dismay, there is far too much to be done) and had a nice meal out with good company. Now it is back to the job at hand and back to seeing the end of humanity trapped in these walls.
