Mars 101

Mars: is your primal reaction, your drives, what sets you off and how you react to it

Aries: temper comes as quickly as it goes, they go with their instincts and nothing is up for deliberation, they’re motto is out with the old, in with the new. Mars in aries dislike people who can’t speak up and say what they feel, they see them as weak.

Taurus: these people go for accuracy over speed. They don’t make any sudden moves. They like to focus on one thing at a time, no matter how long it will take. They don’t adapt to change very well. And pressuring them will only piss them off. It takes a lot to get Taurus feeling some type of way, because most of the time they can’t be bothered, but you don’t want to deal with a pissed off Taurus.

Gemini: Mars in Gemini kind of sucks. Gemini is too unfocused and made easily bored, so it makes it a kind of all over the place. When this person is bored, they can actually feel it. They’ll feel dull and restless. You don’t want to be in a verbal match with a Mars in Gemini, they’ll drag your ass. They definitely put their eggs in a little too many baskets, but that’s just their style.

Cancer: These are the passive-aggressive people. Confrontation generally makes them uncomfortable. They can handle love, they can handle hatred, but they can’t handle indifference. When they feel cornered is where they’ll explode and you will be taken aback. Don’t put them in a corner.

Leo: Mars in Leo feel like their significant in some extra way. They’re special. Everything they do is for a reason and you’ll rarely catch them slipping. When they feel called out, they level up fairly quickly. They don’t take well to criticism. Their heart plays a role in everything they do, and when someone in questioning their intentions or actions, they can get very angry.

Virgo: Mars in Virgo seem to always be on the move. They aren’t very aggressive usually. They can be very critical and difficult to be around. This sign has a system, and when that system is out of whack, they can shut down. They have their own method of doing things and they don’t need anyone’s opinion of those methods. they want to be good at everything they do, and this can lead to some restless nights of worrying if it will all measure up at the end.

Libra: Libra’s indecisiveness really kicks in here. They procrastinate. They’re passive-aggressive. They don’t want to appear unfair with anything but they have to take out their frustrations somehow, so sometimes they stir the pot. They have a really good sense.

Scorpio: anything is possible to Mars in Scorpio. They have a cool exterior, but underneath there’s a whole lot more going on. Their instincts/gut feelings play a big role in a lot of their decisions. They see things in black and white. They see compromise as a lose/lose. This sign knows the world is dark and twisted but it doesn’t scare them.

Sagittarius: Mars in Sagittarius aren’t going to slow dance in a burning room, they’re going to fucking flee the scene. They don’t have the patience to wait around to see if it may or may not work out. These people are restless and adventurous and love to have eggs in every basket possible. They are playful and fun, but they can take things too personally at times. Mars in Sagittarius can be quite the mystery. They can be hot and cold. They’re used to getting their way, because they know how to get their way.

Capricorn: Mars in Capricorn are very lowkey folk. They aren’t going to be in your face. They like to be in control of their life. They are hardworking and want to be successful. They can be quite hard on themselves. They deal with their frustrations either very productively or they turn into hermits.

Aquarius: Mars in Aquarius love the element of surprise. They flaunt their independence to everyone, because they’re proud of it. Any kind of normalcy is abhorrent to them. These people get what they want, not forcefully like Mars in Aries or Sagittarius per se, but they get everyone around them to want what they want. They’re clever in that way. Mars in Aquarius is the most accepting of others. They give everyone the equal amount of space. They treat everyone equally.

Pisces: Mars in Pisces is a very passive sign. Anything but direct. This is an unusual placement for Mars (being the planet of action) they would rather sit back and let things fall where they may. They are moody and what they want is always changing. This sign is creative and as long as they find a way to exert that creativity within themselves, they can be content.
