#the corvid sweep… wouldn’t expect anything less from the edgy bitch website#i voted waterfowl. my chinese name is a type of wild goose! i feel an affinity towards them#i also just generally like cranes and egrets and so on#i don’t have super strong bird opinions but I’m happy to be associated with this family of birds. they’re fine

despite mass arrests by NYPD and several students (including rep ilhan omar’s daughter, isra hirsi) being suspended for their participation and having their university identification deactivated, the gaza solidarity encampment is still going strong well into its second day. def recommend following independent reporter talia jane who is taking part and providing live updates. (talia was the first reporter to break aaron bushnell’s self immolation in february; she was one of the reporters he contacted personally prior to the protest.)

#the news broke yesterday but they’re still going— this level of organization is so inspiring!#the fact that there were multiple groups a protest on campus then a blockade stopping the police from getting in and#people following alongside the arrests to prevent/document violence#bail funds already posted#the way they immediately regrouped and continued in the face of unjust arrests#genuinely hope every single one of them stays safe

Would you believe I didn’t concentrate enough to read all of the options and picked coffee because I want coffee?

#concentration#it would help me a lot but not in such an insane way that any benefits i gain would no longer feel earned#after all it doesn’t make me smarter or faster it just helps me focus. what i do with that focus is still up to me#i think the do-over power would get to me too much and I’d probably mess things up more the second time around#or maybe not take things seriously enough knowing i can just reset?#i’d have to put really strict rules around it. like i can only use that 1 day a week as basically a nothing day for some extra time#instead of trying to minmax my conversations and pick all the right choices#i just feel like it would lead to an existential spiral and I’d overthink living outside of time
