my favorite part about dan’s interaction with phil’s mum is that it felt so casual and familiar. we all know that fake-friendly high-pitched voice people do when they have to talk to someone and they’re trying to be polite, but instead it felt like the way you would talk to your own parent or someone you’re close to and she sounded genuinely happy to speak to him as well. he’s just truly part of the lester family and it’s pure and amazing

i thought the same thing and that moment in the video and this post warmed my heart so much that i want to smile forever
