ARTEMI PANARIN

Alright here we go… Artemi Panarin slammed into us at breakneck speeds. His laugh was infectious, his smile contagious, his love of the game obvious, his love of his teammates undeniable, his love of his fans abundant. There was nothing this kid couldn’t and wouldn’t do for this team, and there’s nothing that we wouldn’t do for him.

We only got him for two years, but in those two years he was pivotal in making the second line fire, necessary beyond belief in making the Blackhawks the contenders that they are.

He was our puppy, he was Kaner’s rookie, a Calder winning icon that we will never forget. I’m already dreading his first steps back into the UC because you know this kid is gonna be the best someday!

Спасибо, Артеми! ❤❤❤❤

Conor Sheary may be small, but his heart is in the game.

Sheary, once an undrafted free agent that was passed over by every team in the league multiple times that has now found a home on the team’s top-line next to the league’s best player, has turned out to be one of the most important. “

Roland Garros 2017 4R: Novak Djokovic def. Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-6(5), 6-1, 6-3
“It was really amazing couple of times both players received a standing ovation for the efforts, which was nice to see that the crowd appreciates and recognize the effort. And for us as tennis players, obviously playing in front of such crowd is always a great joy.”

Congratulations to Essendon’s Brendon Goddard who will play his 300th game this weekend! Goddard becomes one of eight players currently in the AFL system to have played 300 games, and the third this season to notch up the milestone. Taken with the first overall pick in the 2002 National Draft, Goddard made his debut for St Kilda in 2003 as a 17-year old, playing 18 games and picking up a Rising Star nomination in his first year. The recipient of much criticism in the early years of his career, Goddard became one of the Saints most reliable players earning All-Australian selection twice, two pre-season Premierships and playing in three Grand Finals during his time at the club. At the end of the 2012 season, Goddard made the decision to leave the Saints for Essendon, becoming the first player to utilise the AFL’s Free Agency. Since arriving at the Bombers, Goddard has evolved into one of the club’s most important and respected players; in just his first year at the club, he took home the W.S Crichton Medal as Essendon’s best player and in 2016, was named captain in the absence of suspended skipper Jobe Watson. In his 15th season - and one of just seven players remaining from the 2002 draft - Goddard has flagged his intention to play on next season, paying tribute to his club’s supporters in the process: “Physically, I feel really good and, mentally, I’m in a good space […] I’ll continue to play for as long as I think I can help the team or I’m not holding the team back. Playing for Essendon and having such a loyal supporter group has been a credit to everyone involved; as players we’ve really appreciated the support and the continued support”
