“Wait for what?” Bree glared at the space he had been in before walking to her office space.
exavor had been snoozing in her chair… he would snooze in exa’s chair but his office was locked
Bree smiled then walked overdo her window, looking to the streets below and waiting.
she heard a familiar set of a bears footsteps…
She looks up
“hey…” it was obviously exa… and he sounded in no condition to be doing any work…
“Exa! You need to rest! Here, have a seat.” She pulled around her rolly chair.
he pointed to the small bear in the chair
She pulls over her other office chair.
“….heh” he said and pointed to smoke and sun who were snoozing in that chair…
She pointed to a futon along the wall.
“im fine”
“You shouldn’t be up yet. You need to recover.”
“im fine” he repeated
She gave him a stern look.
“….im fine…” he said sternly
“Exa…”
“hey whos the one that pays everybody here?” he said annoyed
“Who won’t be able to if they are dead or disabled?”
“IM FINE” he said booming a little annoyed now he hated to be treated differently when he was hurt
Bree just turned back to the window, crossing her arms.
“…sorry…” he sighed
“Listen,” she said in a gentle voice. “I’m not trying to belittle you or treat you differently. I’m only trying to care for you the way my mother’s instinct says to, the way that will make your family less anxious. I know you’re capable, but let me handle the heavy lifting so to speak, just until you’re a little better healed. Please?”
“….i….” the bear just looked down
"Can you let me?"
