“Hey – hey don’t look at those.” Dean rushed over to the person looking through his porn stash. “These are private.” He says as he snatches them from their hands.

“You know if you want to keep something private, don’t leave it out in plain sight,” she laughed before looking at the car. “Nice wheels.”

“I’ll always protect her.” He smiled. “Nothing will happen to her, I’ll make sure of it.”

Kenzi smiled up at him before patting his cheek. “I know you will, Ricky.”

Klaus groaned as he was hit on the head. “Don’t hit me on the head. I have Max in my arms.” He growled before the kiss on his cheek. “Max is family. I’ll make sure they see that.” He smirked before chuckling at her. “How bad? I’m pretty sure Hayley and Hope have those scented bath things if you’d like to go up there and take a bath.” He smirked teasingly. “You’re fine. Every parent looks like that when they are first taking care.”

Kenzi chuckled. “Why do you think I hit you on the head and not the arm?” she asked. “You’re family for us too, K,” she said softly. She rolled her eyes at him, tempted, to give him a vulgar hand motion. Though she might take a relaxing bath. She wondered if new parents couldn’t sleep because they were afraid to have nightmares again. “Yeah.”

“Nope. It’s definitely not you and definitely not Eric. It’s quite a mystery as to how this little miracle ended up being so damn adorable.” Klaus chuckled not fazed by Kenzi’s glare at all. “You’ll be fine. You know I’m going to be here watching over you and making sure everything is okay.” He shrugged. “Good. Now go eat and take a nap while I spend time with my favourite niece.”

Kenzi rolled her eyes at him and hit him upside the head. “Shut up,” she muttered. She gave him a small smile before placing a kiss on his cheek. “I know you will,” she said simply. He was family. And she knew that he’d always be there. Even in the times when she didn’t want anyone there. She walked to the door before pausing and turning back to him. “How bad do I look right now?” she breathed. “I don’t think I’ve looked in a mirror since Max was born.”

Henrik nodded as she described him. “Well, max is a little stubborn.” He smiled. “And yes she is. I wouldn’t lie.” He scrunched his nose when she poked him. “Because poking is a poke, one poke. You poke all the time.”

“Oh don’t I know it,” she laughed. “She sometimes likes to be stubborn about eating,” she added. “She’s gonna be a heart-breaker I think. Which means when she grows up you’ve gotta look after her,” she replied with a wink. “Yup. Get used to it, kiddo.”

“I don’t know what he was like but I like you so I hope she is like you. She’s already very pretty.” He smiled. “Don’t poke us you poking monster.”
“He was....stubborn. And difficult. And closed off. But he cared. And he saw a lot more than anyone else. And there was no one he cared for more than his family,” she said softly with a small smile. She missed him. She reached up and ruffled his hair. “I like you too, kiddo. She is, huh?” Kenzi laughed. “Aw why not? It’s a lot of fun,” she teased, poking his cheek.

“He is my father.” He laughed. “Well for poking me I will poke max.”

“True. I’ve heard that kids sometimes act like their parents. Sometimes I hope Max will act more like her dad than me. But then I hope she doesn’t,” she replied. “I poke her all the time so it’s fine.”

“Well i was second to my best friend for a long time. So i like it. And my wedding is going to be about me.”

“Doesn’t sound very fun,” she commented. “I didn’t have a best friend till I moved here. Or any friends. Sounds like that makes sense. I’ve heard that weddings are about the bride.”
