Hey I need help! I have "4c ish" short to medium hair kinda that awkward length stage. I'm running out of hairstyles. I do braids with extensions and twist outs and stuff but I'm looking for something more that will do well with my hair, that I will be able to do myself and maintain. Have any ideas?? A few weeks ago an old follower sent me a lovely message on my photography blog to check on me and send me love since she noticed I had hidden my tumblr (and forgotten. lol, typical)
So posting here as I’ve unhidden it, because there are so many memories. And looking through my old posts encouraged me in my current tough season so I hope they encourage someone out there.

Day by day, decision by decision. Progressively, through His strength alone. By His Grace, through faith 💙 . When I'm frustrated or upset, I clench my jaw. This morning, I felt silly because here I was clenching my jaws while opening to Psalms 27 lol. So in my heart, I asked the Holy Spirit to lead me to read a passage in the Bible that will fill me with that love of reading The Word and lift my spirits. Reading Philippians 3:9-11 in the AMPC version blew my mind. It's like I've never seen this scripture before. This is why Paul is my guy, w o w.
Atm I'm home baking my dream birthday cake (lol trying to), surrounded by family and love-happiest birthday I could ask for. God is so so faithful and He's blessed me with another year to experience His faithfulness. My heart can't take the depth of His crazy love. . Grateful for life & growth. Grateful for love & loved ones. Grateful for wholeness in Christ. Here's to more growth this year and onwards 🎈🎊💕

I've decided today is Micely Appreciation day. This strong, intelligent, passionate and beautiful woman has been such a blessing during this past year. She's been by my side when I needed a shoulder to cry on about this (stupid🙄) MSc. She's been there to rush me to A&E while somehow making me laugh in the midst of pain. She never lets me leave her flat without eating so much good food and laughing till my belly hurts. We have thought-provoking conversations any chance we get. She gives me flowers on my way to the library just so I smile. I love you, Micely. Thank you for having one of the kindest hearts I've ever come to know. Here's to many more memories as we round up our Master's degrees. Here's to you touching lives simply by just being who God created you to be ❤
