After killing Orin there is dialogue with Gortash about stones and other. He admires you for resisting your urges and if you say you barely do that, he says

Bhaal allows you to pick your battles, as long as you do pick them. Orin thinks she needs to slash every throat in sight.

There is devnote about this line in game files and you have to look at it yourself

Bhaal is the god of murder - he's speaking to an offspring of that god, and convincing them they are no monsters

I have no words, but tears

I'm devastated by the idea that Orin waltzed into his hall and laughed in Gortash's face as she claimed the dark urge had left him, and he knows what she fucking did and he's furious but he can't do anything because she's the head of the Bhaal temple now.

Like.

He knows she did something horrible to them but he can't find them and they're probably dead so he has to just move on, but in his heart he'll never know for sure.

Until of course, he does. And then it's even worse, like, what if he had looked for the dark urge?

Maybe he would've prevented them from becoming a damn hero.

I too wish to be perpetually cast as a lesbian, gay or bisexual in a project by Mike Flanagan; like to charge, reblog to cast
