Aria is -A Theories...Shh

Is it possible this LiAr was actually telling the truth this time? Aria was the last one with the Pink Hair dye: http://killerariaisa.tumblr.com/post/123025765489/in-shes-no-angel-6x05-aria-and-spencer-are-on Aria did photograph dolls being tortured like they were in the Dollhouse: http://killerariaisa.tumblr.com/post/124880237799/in-o-brother-where-art-thou-6x07-we-see This doll could serve as a clue that Aria has TWO personalities or even possibly a twin: http://killerariaisa.tumblr.com/post/124196056464/in-no-stone-unturned-6x06-we-see-aria-re-visit If only these dolls could talk, maybe we would have some Answers about little miss Aria. www.facebook.com/KillerAriaIsA

As the Liars discuss their next move against Charles in "O Brother, Where Art Thou" (6x07) Aria seems the most reluctant to go after him and immediately suggests going to the police knowing that would likely tip off Charles... Aria: We need to take this to the police and just step back from it. Spencer: The second this goes over the police radio or an email -A is going to know he's being followed and he's never going to show up. Aria: That's fine by me. I don't want him anywhere near us. Hanna: Wait, so we're just supposed to give up?

Hanna kind of snaps on Aria basically saying that she refuses to give up the chance to catch their tormentor? Why wasn't Aria just as eager as Spencer or Hanna? Why is she "fine" with Charles remaining on the loose at this point?

In "O Brother, Where Art Thou" (6x07) we see another glimpse into Aria's doll obsession. First, she is at Mona's house she starts messing with one of the dolls in Mona's collection, turning its head to the side. Spencer takes noticed and clearly thinks is a bit strange and asks her to stop and leave the dolls alone. A little later back at Aria's house Mike stops in to her room to talk where she sits in front of a mountain of her own dolls and tells Mike about her "Doll Phase" which he basically says is creepy but not in a good way. Aria said before that she wanted to "embrace the creepy" with her Doll photography to Clark, but now apparently is over her "Doll Phase" as she intends to give a good part of her collection to Mona. When Mike goes to visit Mona he also brings Aria's gift to her...A basket full of Aria's unwanted dolls...which Mona quickly realizes that one of the dolls has its wrists tied and comes to the conclusion that Aria was taking photographs of the dolls posed and experiencing the same torture they girls endured in the Dollhouse. HOW FREAKING STRANGE is that? That is beyond just "embracing the creepy" that totally sounds like something -A would do. We do know that -A likes to use dolls to literally play out the scenarios that are planned to be part of the A-game. I just find it very suspicious that Aria might just have been doing the same type of thing. I agree Mike, CREEPY but not in a GOOD way. Aria's "Doll Phase" really isn't anything new. We have pretty much known since day one that Aria does love her puppets and her dolls. When Mike gives Aria's dolls to Mona.. Mona: What was she using these for? Mike: Photographs. Mona: Of what WE went through? Mike: Yeah. Mona seems a little creeped out, but notice she said "WE went through." How does Aria know exactly what everyone else went through inside the dollhouse? It seemed to me that not everyone went through exactly the same thing, and I don't remember anyone divulging too many details about what exactly happened there to each other. But, why would Aria want to recreate what happened to them through her photography in the first place? Or is it even possible that it is something she photographed before they even stepped foot in the Dollhouse? We did see Aria looking through photographs on her computer that were taken before they were kidnapped among them being the photograph of the doll in her room that eerily seemed to trigger this most recent obsession with dolls again.. Something is just so strAnge about this Doll, Aria.

In "No Stone Unturned" (6x06) we see Aria re-visit this junkyard. Interestingly enough we see her approaching this carnival mirror and AGAIN see her reflection, which this time her reflection appears distorted. She is then drawn to a doll that sits upon a shelf in the junkyard. She seems to notice quickly that this is a two-sided doll. One with blonde hair, and the other of "Aria." Could this be a another clue to support the theory that Aria does have two sides to her personality? Or that she does have a dissociative personality disorder which is more commonly known as Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD)? I find it suspicious that they continue to keep on giving us these clues that appear to suggest that there is in fact another side of Aria that perhaps we have not been formally introduced to yet.

Aria has seemed to be the first to find clues that may lead to the identity of Charles some of the recent episodes this season. In "Songs of Innocence" (6x03) Aria was the one to find the old photograph of Mrs. D, Charles, and Jason in the Button Jar. A place that even Alison admitted she would have never thought to look herself, and she knows EVERY hiding spot in the DiLaurentis House. Then again, in "Don't Look Now" (6x04) Aria is the first to find Charles's Radley patient files. It is very interesting how fast Aria finds his file when it seemed as if they were looking for a needle in a haystack. Did she know where to look? www.facebook.com/KillerAriaIsA

Hi!! I was just wondering how you figure out what go write about an theory. I always get writers block whenever I try to write about a theory. Thanks!

Hello there, flawlessrebeccahoran

Wow, I am not sure if I ever have been asked this question. But, I do know the pain of writers block so I am hAppy to help, doll.

To answer your question,

I have always loved to write but when I want to focus and write -A theory… I usually wait until I have free time when it’s quiet. Personally I like to write at night best…

Imagine Aria in Rosewood on her laptop in her bed in the middle of the night watching funerals online…that’s me when I am writing a theory. I try to have my photo edit made beforehand which kind of serves as a visual reminder for what I want to theorize about specifically… but I think about the main things that I want to bring up…the specific things that I deem suspicious… and I try to add in any supporting evidence, clues or connections I have found from previous episodes or from the show creators themselves via social media.

I spend a lot of time doing research. Re-Watching episodes, quotes, interviews, etc. I do my best to make sure I the things I reference are coming from the source directly. Lots of fact checking. :p and making sure quotes are exact. Plus, paying attention to all these things helps you come up with all your -A theories.

So, once you have a general in theory in mind. Just write down the main points you want to bring up first. Bullet points if you have to. I actually have a “Sticky Notes” app on my PC and my notes are filled with little clues, quotes, theories.. just all the things I find suspicious. Once you have the general theory in your head and you’re ready to write it…let it evolve. There are so many ways to introduce your theory so just be creAtive and get to the point. Name your suspect. Reveal the clues or evidence you have to support your theory…and sign it with…

Kisses.

Aria Montgomery... also known as the BEST Liar among her friends is at it again. When her new friend Clark asks, "Are dolls your thing?" Aria says this is a NEW thing she is trying, "embracing the creepy." Well, we all know better. We all know that Aria loves her dolls just as much as she loves her puppets. We have seen the dolls in her room and in her house. She has been seen with an American Doll Magazine. Remember when Ella said this in a conversation with Aria... "People aren't dolls, you can't just play with them and put them back in the box.” Why would she lie to Clark? Does she not want her new friend to know she has been "embracing the creepy" for quite some time now...because from what I can tell this is definitely not NEW to Aria. In this scene we also see Aria's reflection in the mirror as she is taking a photo of her posed dolls. Another clue that there are TWO sides to Aria? Or maybe perhaps that Aria is the one with a twin? Either way, Aria is one Pretty Little Liar and with all these lies how can anyone trust her, clearly "She's No Angel." www.facebook.com/KillerAriaIsA

In "She's No Angel" (6x05) Aria and Spencer are on the phone... Spencer BEGS Aria for her help to remember anything that will help give her some insight in to her "nightmare" and Aria seems very reluctant to try and remember or give her any information that might help. During the conversation Spencer asks Aria, "What did you do with that Hair Dye?" Aria kind of dodged the question and seems to be annoyed. Spencer then reprimands Aria telling her that she can't just throw evidence away. Well, Aria didn't technically even say she did throw it away... and later we see -A using the pink hair dye to make a new Aria Doll.

Aria has been increasingly showing us how forgetful she is for quite some time now. Most recently, last week when she is in the Dark Room with Clark and mentions how she doesn't even know why she took the photos of the doll... and this week in "She's No Angel" (6x05) when Clark drops by Aria's dads office to visit her and she first seemed to have forgotten she told him she would be there then also... forgot about a photography contest he seems to recall already telling her about. Why do they seem to make it a subtle point to remind us that Aria is having lapses in her memory? I can understand if she were blocking out or trying to repress some tragic memory but these things she appears to be forgetting are just strange. Maybe she is crAzy, or has some kind of dissociative personality disorder as other clues and theories suggest. This also makes me think of the time Eddie Lamb seemed certain he remembers Aria from Radley and Andrews claim that he was tricked into helping the Liars and we clearly seen his anger was primarily directed towards Aria. Something just doesn't add up with Little Miss Aria.

Here we are at The Brew in “Songs of Experience” (6x03) where Aria and Ezra are catching up while Aria sips her to-go coffee inside.  If you look closely you see a book inside The Brew perfectly propped and facing the camera which I am sure was 100% deliberate.  The book is called “Confessions: The Private School Murders” written by James Patterson. The cover even has a striking image that is SO synonymous with Pretty Little Liars and specially Aria. The “Shh” and it is so similar to the classic pose from PLL.

So, what is the book about? Basically it sounds like parts of it could be Aria’s life in Fiction:

Young girls are being murdered.  Police are looking for answers in all the wrong places.  Enter, the main character…Tandy Angel.

According to the plot summary:

Her first case was the mystery of her parents' deaths. Now she's working to exonerate her brother of his girlfriend's homicide. (Well, this definitely happened to Aria.) And danger just got closer.

One of the recent victims was a student at Tandy's own elite school. She has a hunch it may be the work of a serial killer... and Tandy perfectly fits the profile of the killer's targets. Can she untangle the mysteries in time? Or will she be the next victim?

James Patterson keeps the confessions coming as Tandy delves deeper into her own tumultuous history and the skeletons in the Angel family closet. (The Montgomery Family definitely has seems to have skeletons in their closet.)

So, considering the summary you can definitely see some similarities in the storylines. A girl trying to solve a mystery…who seems to be the potential target of some dangerous mastermind.

This is same scene in which Ezra is encouraging Aria to write AGAIN. If Aria is somehow involved in the A-Game and more specifically “The Writer,” the ultimate keeper of secrets…

This could be a really interesting clue. What if Aria is writing her side of the story partially as a work of fiction just like this book? If Aria was “The Writer” and she wanted her role in the –A game to remain anonymous than her story would have to make her appear as one of the victims in the story. She could have a best-seller on her hands…with all the knowledge, with all the secrets , and gets to appear to be some kind of hero…and maybe that’s how… “Sometimes, the villains win.” Or maybe it could just be a subtle clue that Aria's life itself as WE know it is simply a work of fiction.

In "Songs of Experience" (6x03) there were quite a few #AriaMoments that were very suspicious to me. First we have Ezra encouraging Aria to WRTIE again for the second consecutive episode. Why are they so strongly referencing Aria's writing again now? Maybe Aria is "The Writer" as I have said many times before. I would LOVE to read all the "intense journals" of hers and see what secrets are really hiding in there.

Next we see a little bit more of Aria's photography as she is hanging out at The Brew... There are photos of all kinds of strAnge things...the typewriter, camera, the train, buildings, a photo taken of a building OUTSIDE of a fence...a photo taken of a chair and desk from OUTSIDE the window almost as if she was spying, a photo in a hallway with an "exit" sign, photos of her bedroom. Interestingly, one that seems to zoom in on her "Yellow Wallpaper" which I have previously written a theory about...and one photo that really seemed to resonate with Aria was one in her room of the porcelain doll. Something about all these photos is just odd. These seem more like photos that -A would be taking.

Throughout most of the episode Aria is still eager to find evidence to incriminate Andrew. Was she in some way afraid of what Andrew might reveal? Maybe she should have been. Veronica Hastings did say, "Appearently, when they questioned Andrew he said a few things about you and the other girls...How you all tricked him into helping you?" But, WHO was Andrew MOST mad at? ARIA! Andrew was furious when he yelled at her, "because, I was trying to help YOU." Did Aria ask for his help? Did she trick him? Andrew did seem to speak very openly and candidly in what seemed to be cryptic -A talk WITH Aria when they were spending all that time together. Remember that one time when Andrew said to Aria, “For such a petite girl, you bring a lot of chaos.”

The funny thing is as soon as Aria finds out that Andrew has actually been released from jail she is suddenly HAPPY to see him, and attempts to plea for his forgiveness and potentially regain his favor.

Also for the second consecutive episode in a row someone has let Aria know just how "smart" she is when Alison says to her, "You're smart Aria, I would have never thought to look in the button jar."

One of the final scenes with Aria we see her taking photographs outside through her window in her bedroom. She then turns to the MIRROR and photographs herself which was so eerie. Aria and her mirrors. Pretty Little Liars writer, Norman Buckley posted a photo recently on Twitter of Aria gazing into a mirror with her camera in her hand and this quote: “Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.” –Friedrich Nietzsche. Which may be a clue that Aria has some kind of mental illness. Or that maybe she has allowed herself to become a monster?

After Aria takes her selfie in the mirror she turns to the same doll that seems to stir up some kind of emotion or memory and takes what appears to be an identical photo as we seen her look at earlier. Weird...

SOMETHING is just not right about this little LiAr.

Below I will post links to more theories that could be connected to Aria's strange behavior we seen tonight.

Oh, Aria you're such a Pretty Little LiAr!

In "Songs of Innocence" (6x02) Aria is on a mission to single handedly destroy Andrew. #AriasLittleLie, scratch that, they should have used the hashtag #AriasBIGLie because she completely lied to law enforcement when she said she saw Andrew without the mask, which could potentially land the wrong person in Prison. Does Aria even care if the wrong person gets convicted of this crime? Everyone else seems skeptical or hesitant like I've mentioned before to say without a doubt that Andrew is -A or that he is Charles. But, not Aria...here  she goes again recklessly pointing her pretty little finger at someone. Remember, when she even suggested Peter Hastings was -A?

It seems like even Toby suspects that Andrew was in some way set up or at the very least not the mastermind...It seems that maybe someone wanted Andrew to be caught. Someone wanted Andrew to take the blame, and Aria seems to be the most eager to put that blame on him. Aria's accusations certainly make her look suspicious...because again her agenda seems to parallel with exactly what -A would want.

In “Songs of Innocence” (6x02) one thing we see that struck me as suspicious was Aria’s photography. First of all, the LiArs are all back home in Rosewood and trying to deal with what happened inside the Dollhouse. Meanwhile, Aria is out for Andrew’s blood while the rest of the girls seem to be a little skeptical and hesitant to point their finger at him right now.

Interestingly, we see flashbacks of all the LiArs reflecting glimpses of what happened to this there… every single flashback aside from Aria’s showed us something that happened in the Dollhouse we hadn’t seen before. Aria’s flashback was a couple of glimpses we seen of her before the “gAmes” begun.

When we got to this scene, I thought maybe this was going to be Aria’s flashback showing us what really happened to her inside the dollhouse…BUT, instead we got glimpses of photographs. Aria did appear to be looking through photographs saved on her camera.

So, what are these photos of and what could they mean? These photos primarily seem to be places where some of -A’s biggest gAmes were played. I believe the first photo is of the sawmill in Ravenswood where -A pulled of that great mAgic trick which also did have a sign with an “A” on it on the front of the building. We see a train…The -A train? We also see a ceiling and a chandelier, which could be the theatre where Aria killed Shana. Then finally, a window. Which flashes to Aria standing and taking a photo in front the window.

Aria told Ella she plans to “stick to the visuals,” for now.

If this is Aria’s photography why would she have these photos? These photos that are connected to some of -A’s most evil laid plans? Is it possible she somehow helped lay some of the plans. While we didn’t get to see Aria being tortured in this episode, we did see that one of the gAmes was forcing the girls to turn on each other. Maybe Aria turned a long time ago? I can’t help but think that #AriaKnows something more? That maybe Aria is in fact the LiAr we really can’t trust.

On March 3rd, 2015 I. Marlene King posted a photo of Aria with her beloved pig puppet we all know as Pigtunia with the caption: "You have not seen the last of Pigtunia. BEWARE OF THE PIG."

It is interesting that Marlene attached a warning to "beware" in the comments. Do we have a reason to fear Pigtunia or her owner, Aria? :p

In the Season Six premiere, "Game on, Charles" (6x01) Alison is in cahoots with Caleb and Ezra and devised a plan to get Alison out of the house using a doll dressed in the iconic -A black hoodie and a pig mask. Could this have been a prop used as a clue?

Let's also not forget that "puppets" seem to be a reoccurring theme that can be connected to -A, and Aria is the one who is obsessed with this Pig Puppet of her own, since childhood.

In Season 1, Episode 14: Careful What u Wish for. There is the Dance-A-Thon, and Aria’s old babysitter shows up and its a surprise to Aria. Unknowingly Ella thinks that Simone and Ezra might hit it off and introduces them, which sends Aria into a bit of a rage. Ezra is working the coat rack and talking to Simone, and A JeAlous Aria interrupts their conversation. Simone goes on to say about Aria, “Talk about somebody who loves their PUPPETS…” The connection has been made here to Aria and “puppets” along with her mysterious Pig puppet that actually there the night of Ali’s “disappearance” too. Aria's pig puppet disappeared from the barn when Ali did and reappeared with Aria and we see Byron and Ella talking about it while they were unpacking their things after arriving back in Rosewood from Iceland.

The writers have seemed to strategically reference “Puppets” so often in the show in connection to both to -A and Aria.

So when we get a message from Marlene King saying "Beware of the pig" accompanied by a photo of Aria and Pigtunia just a few months before the Season Six premiere...and we then see in the season premiere that Pigtunia is reunited with Aria in the Dollhouse. Perhaps, we should "beware" as Marlene warned of Aria. Because, in Rosewood...things are not always who they seem. Also, I seriously think that Pigtunia is the only one who really knows what happened "that night." :p Could Aria be -A puppet master in the -A game?
