Like. I’m a firm believer that porn online shouldn’t be within kids reach (those “are you 18” checkboxes for life) but. Like. Ok first of all, just ban cp? It’s not hard? Cp is what got you into this mess just ban it. Second of all, you could increase the age of sign-up from 13 to 18. Third of all, you could do what deviantart does and just. Require birthdays at sign-up. If your blog is flagged as nsfw, you can’t interact with minors. You want to follow an nsfw blog? Prove you’re an adult. You’re an adult but don’t want to see nsfw content? Safe search (that actually works).

It’s not hard to make a functioning website, but staff doesn’t seem to want to do that.

staff You are recommending that I follow a nazi blog I blocked last night. Your site promotes anti-semitism to Jews. Your site shoves Nazi Swastikas in the faces of Jews. It’s bad enough that the Nazi blogs seem to be sprouting up like weeds on a site that claims to have an anti-hate policy, but to actively promote them to people who have taken the steps of blocking these blogs is beyond the pale. Clean this place up. It’s turning into Stormfront. I encourage everyone who sees this post, Jewish or otherwise, to reblog it. Tumblr has been ignoring the growth of Nazism on this site for too long. It needs to end.

Hi! Here is a small tbr for the month! . ■ The Good Immigrant by Nikesh Shukla. ■ The Women and the Men by Nikki Giovanni. ■ Blue Horses Rush In by Luci Tapahonso. ■ They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. ■ Hunger by Roxane Gay. ■ March book 3 by John Lewis. ■ She of the Mountains by Vivek Shraya. As you can tell from that list, there are a few more books I'd like to get to that aren't in the photo. The only potential issue with having so much on the tbr list is that I am starting university on the 18th and will have to start reading for my course at some point very soon (and the books for my course obviously take priority over the books that aren't for my course). . . I'm also really unhappy with my photos recently, so I'm trying to think of what I can do =/ . . September 1 - #allthebookssept & #grimdragon - September tbr.

Hi everyone! Here is my August book haul (including a one-book library haul!). ■ Persepolis 2 by Marjane Satrapi. ■ Deadly Silence: Black Deaths in Custody by A. Sivanandan. ■ Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab. ■ Chavs by Owen Jones. ■ Beloved by Toni Morrison. ■ In Order to Live by Yeonmi Park. I'm #currentlyreading Persepolis 2 and loving it as much as the first volume! I'm unsure of what to pick up next though.... . . . . . August 30 - #allthebooksaugust - August book haul.

Hi everyone. I read the first Persepolis book earlier this month and it was absolutely fantastic! I then bullied my brother into checking the second book out from the uni library for me (I don't have my student card yet, so I can't use the library myself yet). I read a couple chapters and am really looking forward to reading more!! . . . . . . August 26 - #grimdragon - #diversereads

Hi everyone :) one day I'll get back to posting every day...(an even posting photos on the same day as the photo challenge prompt). Born a Crime by Trevor Noah was ome of the best books I read in 2016. I listened to the audiobook & thought it was fantastically done. The writing is great and I love Trevor Noah's voice (this is a repost, I'm pretty sure I said something about loving his voice last time too, haha). I love the book so much and would highly recommend you pick it up! . . . . August 23 - #allthebooksaugust - favorite audiobooks.

Hey, so...I was planning to take part in the Tome Topple read-a-thon this month, but then I didn't. But, I hope to be more inspired to pick up a big book by the time the next round comes about. I'm thinking that for the next round, I'll pick up The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin. I've heard fantastic things about this first book, and even better things about the second and third books in the series. . . . . August 17 - #tometopplereadathon - tomes on your TBR for the next round of tome topple.

. Hi everyone! Here is what I'm #currentlyreading. Persepolis is a graphic memoir of the author, Marjane Satrapi, growing up in Iran during the Islamic revolution. I'm just under halfway through this first volume (there are two volumes in total - you may be more aquainted with the Complete Persepolis bind-up. I would have preferred that edition tbh but I found this one second hand so just went for it). I'm finding this volume to be really interesting so far, and hear the second part is even better! Hopefully I'll manage to get my hands on a copy of Vol 2 soon! . . . August 15 - #allthebooksaugust - currently reading.

This photo is completely off theme for me (do/did I even have a theme?) but I quite liked it. This is a mini book spiral made from the books I have on my nightstand - some of the books that I want to read very soon. . . . I haven't posted in such a long time. What are you all up to? What are you reading? Watching? Listening to? . . . . #allthebooksaugust - book spiral.

Hi everyone! Here is my August TBR (how tf is it August already): ■ Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge (my #currentread). ■ Not Otherwise Specified by Hannah Moskowitz. ■ Sweetgrass Basket by Marlene Carvell. ■ Persepolis 1 by Marjane Satrapi. The Tome Topple read-a-thon begins on the 4th of August, and I still haven't decided what to read for that; it'll probably be Strange the Dreamer or Gentleman's Guide. . . August 1 - #grimdragon - TBR. #allthebooksaugust - August TBR.

Hi everyone! Here is my July wrap up! Hi everyone! Here is my July book haul! ■ The Qin Dynasty Terra-cotta Army of Dreams by Zhang Lin ■ Classic Queen by Mick Rock ■ Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge (my next read!). ■ The Poetry of Protest [edited] by Simon Fuller ■ The Raqqa Diaries by Samer (read & highly recommend). ■ Freddie Mercury by Peter Freestone (since buying, I've heard it's not good...probably won't end up reading it. Good thing it was dirt cheap!). ■ Race by Toni Morrison ■ Walking on Knives by Maya Chhabra (ebook). Have any of you met a favorite author? I'm meeting one of my favorites, Victoria Schwab, on Wednesday, and I don't know what to do with myself. I've only met one author at a signing before and I was so awkward and embarrassed xD July 30 - #diversebookjul - diverse book haul. #allthebooksjuly - July book haul.

Hi everyone! Here is another of my most anticipated releases for the next half of the year. 27 Hours by Tristina Wright is a YA science fiction novel about teens trying to stop a war between humans and aliens. There is apparently a TON of good rep in this book; POC, bisexual, gay, pansexual, asexual, trans, deaf, and even more! This book is sure to be absolutely fantastic, keep an eye out for it when it releases on October 3rd! July 29 - #diversebookjul - multiple characters with multiple marginalizations.

Hey everyone! From what I can tell, this collection is intersectional and features essays about racial divides in America, contraception, family, working class experiences, immigration and more. It is available in bookshops in the UK and on Book Depository now if you want to pick it up! I've heard fantastic things about it. . . . July 24 - #diversebookjul - non-fiction about intersectional feminism.

Hey :) I will read this book some day soon. I'm so sure that I'll love it, and am so excited to pick it up! I don't know all that much about it, but I heard something about a Labyrinth retelling/reimagining, and..well..Labyrinth is my favorite film so..you got me hooked. (Also the covers of this series are so gorgeous, have you seen the cover for Shadowsong?!) . . . June 20 - #diversebookjul - author with multiple marginalizations. #allthebooksjuly - still on my tbr.

. Hey everyone. I haven't posted about this book since February, so here I am rec-ing it again. Women, Race & Class by Angela Y. Davis is a fantastic book about the history of the women's movement and the black rights movement, and how feminism was (and still largely remains) exclusionary to those who are not white, straight, cis, middle-class, able-bodied etc. It's a great read, full of really interesting and valuable information, and I highly recommend it (and all of Davis' work honestly, she's brilliant). . . . July 19 - #allthebooksjuly - recommend a book.
