“Well, it’s not like they allow you to get in to see the whole process.” he laughed and shook his head before patting Stark’s back. “Who the hell would have thought you’d end up forming an actual family, huh?”
“You know... sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth.”
“And yet, mom still finds the time to say Happy Birthday. I didn’t know saying two words counted as celebrating.”
“You’re mother is sentimental. It makes you weak.”
“Right. So you thought it was my birthday last week and yet I still didn’t hear a ‘happy birthday Tony’.”
“And you’re another year older and still haven’t accomplished anything. So what should we be celebrating? It was your mother that did the work to birth you.”
“Hey, Marge told me Tony was born this afternoon.” Jack said approaching his old friend. “Congrats, pal. How’s Maria doing?”
“She’s fine, as you know, births go I guess. I just waited in the lobby.”
“Did she? That would explain that then... Where are your grades then? I better see top marks in all your classes.”
“You better watch that tone, boy. I am your father and you will speak to me with respect.”
“Good point, but don’t forget I’ve got men working for me.” Jack shrugged. He didn’t mind hiring some guy who’s so desperate to get his chief’s approval to follow him making the poor agent believe it was for national security.
“Really? So you’d let some agent you don’t really know follow your sister? She’s bound to meet some other guy if not me and then this agent will have to watch her have sex with this guy. Then he’s going to get horny and then he’ll want your sister and he works with you so that will make her trust him... It’s just a no good road. Better the devil that you know.”
“I’m willing to bet that that isn’t actually your middle name.”
“It most certainly is.”
“Really? I find that hard to believe.”
“And would you have believed any other number I could have given you?”
Katherine smiled in thanks and got into the car.
He got in behind her and instructed Jarvis to go to his usual breakfast location.
“So - and you have to answer honestly - how many girls have you brought here before me?”
“None.”
“Somehow i find that hard to believe. Don’t push your luck Stark“
“Luck is my middle name.”
I know there has been a lot of controversy lately over the new plot line that Marvel has introduced. I acknowledge that people find it hurtful, and that their feelings on the subject matter, particularly in the case of Jewish people who feel that this flies in the face of the original creators of the character. This is not me denying those feelings have importance. They are important. What I am saying is that I know people have been playing a Hydra version of Cap since the first movie came out at least. They have been embracing an alternative narrative, exploring a dark side to the character, and what-have-you with no intentions of hurting anyone else, and now they might be feeling a bit attacked. Whether or not I think Marvel is doing something good or bad, I am not here to poop on other players or their ideas, so if you are playing a Hydra Cap, I’m not here to judge you.
“This time there’s a slight difference, since you guys have finally met I refuse to leave you two alone.”
“I wish you luck in that en devour. You can’t exactly follow her around twenty four seven while working full time as well.”

“You told me it didn’t hurt.” Katherine reminded. Rolling her eyes, she leant over and pressed her lips to Howard’s cheek. “There.”
“Just because it doesn’t hurt doesn’t mean it’s not an injury. And that’s all I get? I just fought off a hundred men on my own.”
