How did you get to know metroid, and when/how dis you fall in love with it? It's always nice to hear how different everyone's experiences are

Back in 2002 older sibling was gifted Metroid Fusion then we were allowed a GameCube and Metroid Prime when it came out! 8 year old me had only experienced some Game Boy games belonging to older sibs, so seeing a 3D game blew my mind- also gave me a TON of nightmares x'D
I used to have constant nightmares of SA-X stalking Samus in weird amalgamated ship corridors, both 2D and life like mashup, like the commercials
After that I was like, insanely obsessed, it's funny how scared I was yet hypnotized by these games xD
The concept art of Prime is a huge inspiration to me!! though I'm very disappointed Android Jones got into NFTs in recent years, his work in general has always been a huge influence- I would redraw the concept art often to study growing up
I would also maladaptive daydream about Metroid so much, pretend to be Samus and one point I drew bunch of the creatures and drew up maps of Prime locations, then go around the house designating each room as such taping the art to doorways- Christian family was NOT pleased LOL they thought everything was demonic, Pokemon was banned so I'm very lucky they allowed us to get near the Metroid series, yada yada good vs evil, forced religious meaning on to everything, they probably thought the aliens were demons.
A lot of my old art is lost/destroyed because of that though, but I was able to hide some stuff I drew as a child I want to post someday.
I super wish I took photos of stuff but no cameras, rarely had disposable ones, no digital back then. In 2nd grade I made a silent comic for a classmate detailing the entire gameplay of Fusion and Prime, that's lost to time x'(
In every way those 2 games have a massive influence on me and so do the other games, though I have yet to still play Hunters, Other M and Dread- no access to em
I've played Prime so much that I can beat it in around 6hrs 100% it is fully memorized LMAO my first time playing I never died and hilariously sibling got mad at me for that cause I watched them play it first so I knew what to do xD
I was also able to finally get 100% in Fusion back in like 2013, it took me that whole time, shinesparking was a BITCH but I finally did it
....I could literally talk for hours about each game in so much detail, Metroid series became a special interest though I'm very nervous, not many friends have ever heard of the games... maybe I should make a video series in the future and replay games 😄 (capture card technology is still alien to me)

Welp seems Tumblr remembers the blog data and remembers the old username enough that even with a new name, it's still being hidden.
I have to make a full new blog now :'C
After a decade, this blog has become unsearchable and will not show up at all
So if anyone can even see this post, I hope you will continue to follow me again. I wish this wasn't the case but time for a new beginning 8')
I will try to direct ppl to the new blog when I make it but like seriously, my posts are just not showing up on your feed anymore to begin with.

soooooooo my side art blog, even though all the buttons to search it are active
it seems it's fully suppressed by tumblr I can not even access my own archive, it's not coming up if you search it but OTHERS posts @'ing my blog show up
pretty sure the word d*ath is fully nuked online by this point a decade of making accounts and I chose the one word that seemingly not safe enough to use anymore... I'm a lil devastated and at this point I think I absolutely HAVE to make a whole new account for my art. Now it makes more sense why not even my followers are seeing my posts....

idk if this is rude but I do have a ko-fi for tips
I'm a disabled artist dealing with now 7 years of severe burnout and failing health. I'm still unable to access any care, unemployed, I can no longer offer commissions or even doodles for supporters because being at a computer drawing for too long causes me traumatic flashbacks. I've been through some things and am a mess, trying to regain the use of my body and crushing under a lot of mental illness...
I have a small digital shop with Clip Studio Brushes and layered files if that at all is interesting? sales have stopped for months.
I would love to work on old projects, but I seriously have no estimate on what I can finish, a lot of my shelved projects are above my current stamina. Art I do post is MONTHS of slow progress so please don't think I am easily able to draw all day everyday even though I am homebound.
I'm sorry if this sounds scary in wording, I'm just so very tired and confused... I'm so sorry if this comes off as annoying or demanding, I have no idea what to do, small support is greatly appreciated I have no idea what I can do for those who support me unless they state what they want.
