The U.S. government has been handed over to the people who have PROMISED to “undo” marriage equality, stop environmental regulation, criminalize abortion, flood the country with more guns, let the poor starve, cut education funding and pour more money into war than into science, just to name a few things.

Neo-nazis and Klansmen were already fucking saying that Trump’s success, even if he didn’t win, made them feel mainstream and emboldened enough to stop “holding back” and “hiding.” That’s America now. We’re getting anywhere from 4-8 years of that and it probably won’t go away in any one of your lifetimes no matter who the next president is.

Trump has an 80% chance of winning. We’ve lost the senate. The stock market it currently plummeting. I am so scared and disappointed. I feel like I cannot breathe.

When I can no longer get my yearly checkups and birth control at my Planned Parenthood, it’s gonna matter. When my lbgtq friends can no longer marry, it’s gonna matter. When my Muslim friends get deported it’s gonna matter. When my black friends get stopped and frisked day in and day out because of their skin, it’s gonna matter. When people lose jobs and can’t get new ones because we plummet into another recession, it’s gonna matter. When big corporations get even deeper tax cuts and the middle class completely disappears, it’s gonna matter. When torture becomes regular practice for our military again, it’s gonna matter. When the chances of a nuclear war go up astronomically because Trump “won’t take nukes off the table” it’s gonna matter.

Let me be as mother fucking clear as crystal:

This matters more than anything has ever mattered in our fucking lifetimes.

Hey...

If Trump wins tonight, let’s all agree to survive and thrive out of spite.
