* The ones in bold are my faves
* But I advise you to watch LearningJapanese!! Like this guy literally taught me from Kana to Intermediate Grammar, which has been a very good improvement
The best one for grammar tho is Imabi. Goes from beginner to advanced and even covers Classical Japanese if you’re into that. I use it almost as much as my dictionaries of Japanese Grammar.

Picked the last wildflowers out of my fire escape garden and put them into a tiny little bronze coffee pot my friend gifted me ages ago.

I had my friends list facial expressions for me to practice with, they were fun! Can you find the stress poop one?
“Tom produced a scale from his back pocket. It was huge, much larger than even Tseka’s. It was the color of a lake on a stormy day, or was it a clear day? No, the golden shimmering bottom of a lake where it was shallow! Or was it the color of trees reflected off the surface? He held it out to the questioning park rangers, each of theme examining it in awe and passing it down the line. Eventually it was passed to Sven. It was wet to the touch, though no moisture was left on his hands. It was cold, too, but warmed up quickly the more it was handled. Its shape looked more like the choppy surface of the water on a windy day than any regular scale shape....”
--------- I was supposed to be doing classwork but my pen was all “nope we’re gonna do some concept art for a Tom the water dragon” OKAY SURE PEN WHATEVER *throws arms up in the air*
I am teaching Intro to 2D Character Animation. I have taught in actual workshops/schools such as CDA, but this will be the first time I’ll be holding a 2D class online.
The class is taught online using Adobe Connect, so anyone who misses a class can watch a recording of it/reschedule personal critiques. The class is 12 sessions long, each going for about 3-4 hours. Thursdays, 7:30-10:30 pm US Pacific Time. The price is 700 USD in total, and the start date is June 15 2017. Open to individuals of ANY animation skill. This class teaches classical animation skills that are focused for 2D character animation. Assignments include basic character movement, animating expressions, introduction to performance and acting within animation, and finally; invoking life to your characters. This course includes lectures, live demonstrations and assignment draw overs as part of the learning experience.
Recommended Skills: Students will need to be able to have basic draftsmanship skills such as loose gesture drawing, form, sequential drawing, basic perspective and figure invention due to the fast paced nature of the class.
By the end of this class, students will be able to:- Understand and Utilize the 12 principles of animation - and apply it to actual characters. - Draw Short hands and gestures - construct appealing and solid drawings - Have fleshed out/thought out acting choices - Be able to animate basic character movements - Understand the basics of the Exposure Sheet, Time Charts, and actually use them - Tackle Dialogue - Be comfortable in animating in good ol’ 2D - Have some work to be showcased in a Demo Reel If you are interested, read more about the curriculum here: https://www.brushtaleworks.com/education/#/online-classes/ Register and pay for the class here: https://gum.co/sIMAT If you have any questions (eg. payment plans and scheduling) feel free to message me! -Toniko
