Rachel's iChat Doodles

@racheldoodles / racheldoodles.tumblr.com

There once was an animator named Rachel Gitlevich She was rather short, and her hair looked bewitched She studied real hard at an art school in Philly And ended up working on cartoons that were silly Some of her work has appeared on the web, while other productions aired on TV instead A few music videos feather her cap And a stop motion fan show to boot in her lap Shows like Ugly Americans, Turbo, and more Superjail, Doctor Puppet, and film shorts galore She's currently working at Titmouse New York You'll never find this girl too far from a fork Rachel's also involved in some cool puppet matters Like the upcoming show Dead Meat done by Maxwell Atoms

* The ones in bold are my faves

* But I advise you to watch LearningJapanese!! Like this guy literally taught me from Kana to Intermediate Grammar, which has been a very good improvement

The best one for grammar tho is Imabi. Goes from beginner to advanced and even covers Classical Japanese if you’re into that. I use it almost as much as my dictionaries of Japanese Grammar.

Also Jisho.org is terrible. It frequently will give outdated or incorrect definitions ESPECIALLY E -> J. All my professors say they can tell if a student used Jisho because they will have weird archaic vocab words in there. Use Weblio or even ALC.

“Tom produced a scale from his back pocket. It was huge, much larger than even Tseka’s. It was the color of a lake on a stormy day, or was it a clear day? No, the golden shimmering bottom of a lake where it was shallow! Or was it the color of trees reflected off the surface? He held it out to the questioning park rangers, each of theme examining it in awe and passing it down the line. Eventually it was passed to Sven. It was wet to the touch, though no moisture was left on his hands. It was cold, too, but warmed up quickly the more it was handled. Its shape looked more like the choppy surface of the water on a windy day than any regular scale shape....”

--------- I was supposed to be doing classwork but my pen was all “nope we’re gonna do some concept art for a  Tom the water dragon” OKAY SURE PEN WHATEVER *throws arms up in the air*

I am teaching Intro to 2D Character Animation. I have taught in actual workshops/schools such as CDA, but this will be the first time I’ll be holding a 2D class online.
