We moved the washer and dryer into a bedroom on the same floor as my own room and DEAR GOD has it improved my quality of life to not schlep laundry up and down the stairs. I do it more often and forget it less. Not a cheap life hack, but if you are in a position to do it I EXTREMELY recommend.

I'd put the w/d in my damn closet if there was space, that's the most ideal but holy crap removing steps to any task is great.

stumbleupon not existing anymore can be directly traced to a dramatic decline in my mental health, I could do a thesis on it.

Wait... I thought these were a childhood hallucination! Wax and rubber fruits/veggies as decor turned up enough in 'thrift' stores that I, as a grown adult, knew they were real but I never dreamed the fruit lamp WAS ACTUALLY REAL.

companies are delusional if they think consumers don't notice shrinkflation. less food in the package, less medicine in the jar, less whatever in the wherever, it doesn't matter where and it's almost always noticeable. like i just finished one box of medicine and we opened another allegedly identical one that we just bought and lo and behold, the four middle medicine segments were gone from the package. they took out four pills from the same sized box and sold it at the same price without any indication on the box other than the small number in the corner. ridiculous

I bought a carton of my favorite tomato soup last week and noticed that the nutrition facts looked weird. So I compared the new one to the mostly empty carton already in my fridge.

The serving size was the same, but the calories per serving had gone down by like 15. Odd. The ingredients list previously listed tomato as the first ingredient, and then water. Now water is first. They’re watering down the fucking soup and charging the same for it. I’m so fucking done.

Coca-cola in the UK started tasting funny recently; label is still the same, BUT I'm convinced they've switched sugar source from cane to beet! Taste is one of my autistic jacked up senses, I KNOW WHEN THINGS HAVE BEEN FIDDLED WITH. Beet sugar is ACTUALLY sweeter than cane and has a more chemical aftertaste, it drove me nuts for years after immigrating to the UK from the US since I'd never even thought white sugar wasn't cane.

Finding out the fae are parasitic fungi, huh.

So I'm not the one to ask for help so I've been very hesitant on sharing, but got some news last week that I will be homeless by June (and no, this is not an awful april fools joke, I am panicking here).

Some of you in the vulture culture community know last week and a bit ago I had an accident resulting in losing consciousness, breaking my neck, and experiencing a seizure for the first time. I've been having ongoing brain issues (we removed a lot of cerebral fluid in December that was causing increased pressure and testing the fluid to rule out infection, diagnosed with IIH), and last month I've been having heart issues.

Referrals have been made to a cardiology specialist, as well as the first fit clinic. But it's looking like I will probably have to go private to get listened to / get the care I need ASAP. Couple with the fact I will be homeless by June, it's a really terrifying situation. I have contacted local councils, independent living schemes, shelter, private landlords etc and feel like I've been let down. I'm awaiting a doctors appointment with a NHS advisor on the 10th, where I'll be showing them my list of resources I've used, and to see if they are able to help find anything.

I reluctantly made a justgiving page, on the advice of my friends, and while I hate asking for help, I am honestly quite scared and uncertain about my future.

Thank you for your time, I'm sorry for posting this here but I don't know what else to do. I will be continuing to work on the skull index, as its such big passion project of mine along with the help of my team. Its a great distraction.
