Bought this epic airsoft gun earlier.  Almost the entire thing is made of metal (including the orange end!), it has a full-auto setting, and I nailed it for only eight bucks at the thrift shop because people don’t know how to price things properly sometimes! >:D

Bucketlistmod drew cutie marks on Skill Set, Moonlight, and Mad Hatter!  Eeeeheehee I'm so happy!!

Now some of you might know, I am a bit of a critic about things, specifically art.  Personally, I'm not sure how I feel about SS's mark having a red outline, and I feel like his mark and Hatter's are both a little too big.  However, Moonlight's is just plain awesome.  I find myself questioning whether it would look better with the crescent part hollowed out or not, but either way, I freaking love it.

Thanks bucketlistmod!  Should you choose to do anything else for this blog, I will certainly look forward to it! ^_^

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

Our very own DJ Streamline has found a neat mix someone has put together to celebrate the occasion!  Let's remember it this year as we strive to increase our numbers until the day we can stand together, united as one, against all who threaten Equestria and those who call it home!

OKAY, so my brother showed me this picture (below) and was like “Hey look the balloon kid’s under the desk!” Now I was farther away, and the first thing I noted was the pink eyes so I said “That can’t be him it has pink eyes. It’s probably (old) chica. The balloon guy has blue eyes.” So my brother...

I'm going to guess that its eyes are actually red, showing signs of demonic purpose or something, and they just look pink in the light.  Either theory could be true, but that would have been my first guess.

Five Nights at Freddy's theory

So, if you hadn’t guessed, I’ve been a bit into Five Nights at Freddy’s, the brilliant indie horror game made by Scott Cawthon. You, a security guard at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza (imagine if Chuck E. Cheese were made in the innermost circle of hell), must protect yourself from the animatronic figures that roam the facility at night. Employing a unique sense of horror, Five Nights at Freddy’s induces paranoia and fear on an unprecedented level, by completely denying your sense of fight or flight, as you can neither fight these animatrons, or run from them, and giving you extremely limited resources to accomplish your goal of lasting five nights.

Several statements by the creator, plus in-game evidence, have proven that the animatrons are actually haunted by the spirits of five children who died by a security guard (or Freddy himself), and the bodies were stuffed into the animatronic suits. I, however, have a different, more tech-oriented theory regarding the events at Freddy Fazbears Pizza.

It’s established very early on in the game that the animatrons will not recognize you as a person if they see you, and thus, your untimely, grisly demise is very imminent. On top of this, you’re entirely incapable of moving from one spot, and the UI remains regardless of if you’re looking at the camera or not. Combined with the fact that your death leads to a cut video feed, this all culminates to one thought.

I just have a few small problems with this theory.  One, if "fuzzing out" happens because you are an animatronic, explain Slender Man.  Granted, that uses a camera, but in that case, we are supposed to assume the fuzzing out in this game happens because you are a security guard running cameras, and it's sort of an expected cliche that if a guy running cameras dies, the camera always fuzzes out right before it happens, even if it comes back on later.  Two, if I am an animatronic, why in the world would it be bad for me to get stuffed into a suit?  Unless I am rooted to my chair, in which case it would hurt because I'd be getting ripped apart, basically.  On top of that, why didn't they just put a suit on me?  Problem solved.  Three, why am I even getting paid if I'm rooted to my chair and have no need for money anyway?  You could argue that I would need repairs every now and then, but I still am not programmed for that purpose anyway, and thus the establishment would be doing more harm to itself than good by paying a robot to sit on its butt and do nothing.  Besides, I highly doubt they would need to put an ad in the paper if they planned to install an animatronic security guard, especially since they are officially low on cash (by officially, I mean the game's creator officially stated it, I think it was via a few newspapers on the walls) and wouldn't be able to afford the animatronic's installation and programming, let alone the upkeep for it.  Four, I think the reason the power is still being used is because A) there is still a light in the office that remains on while I am in it, otherwise the room wouldn't get any darker when the power went out, and B) THAT FAN.  And the other appliances while we're at it.  Someone once made a joke about the fan in the room being the real culprit because it never stopped using up power, and in all honesty I think that might be the case.  Neither the fan nor the light use much power, but both of them together (not to mention the phone and answering machine, which is clearly also on or you wouldn't be hearing those messages every night) would definitely use at least a small amount of power.  Oh, and you can't blame the animatronics because even in the very beginning, the phone guy says that they run on special software and hardware that requires them to be in constant motion in order to remain running.  This means that they are self-powered, self-motivated, whatever you want to call it, so they never need to be hooked up to the power supply.

Sorry to burst your bubble, guy, but I think you were thinking a little too far into this and forgetting some basic real-life logic here. :P

A Storybook Moment

Alright guys, for those of you who actually read my blog, I managed to write a one-shot that acts as a sort of prologue to the events that led to REEF's creation.  This prologue can be read here: http://www.fimfiction.net/story/225382/1/a-storybook-moment/a-storybook-moment

All feedback will be appreciated! ^_^

I also find myself wondering who unfollowed me. o.O  Oh well, no biggie.  I plan to start updating again soon, I have been rather busy the past few months with work and the changing seasons (DARN LEAVES) and only recently regained the motivation to create.
