“India’s Supreme Court has issued a historic ruling confirming the right of the country’s LGBT people to express their sexuality without discrimination.
Judges ruled that sexual orientation is covered under clauses in the Indian Constitution that relate to liberty, despite the Government claiming there was no legal right to privacy.
The ruling paves the way for discriminatory practices against LGBT people to be challenged in the courts.”

I really don’t understand what’s going on with all the people here constantly mistyping or getting offended when their identity is questioned and then using the “social blind clique is bullying me!!! That proves they’re terrible people!!!” Statement as excuse to not having an actual argument to defend themselves.

Listen they’re not bullying you, they’re not a secret society that reunites only to plot evil plans against you.

And if you get so offended when they say you’re not certain type, to the point you have to block them so they don’t make you cry. Then you’re probably a Fi user, and an unhealthy one while we’re at it. Because if you had healthier Fi, then you’d probably know yourself better and would be more realistic about who you are, and people questioning you probably wouldn’t even be necessary.

Fe doesn’t need that, because it simply doesn’t care about those things. And getting out the “you don’t know me card” is 9 times out of 10 a Fi thing. Fe and Fi and all the other functions do more than this, sure! But assigning these behaviors to them is not stereotyping or “putting people in boxes”, it’s something necessary. Why?

Because people are not machines and they won’t act exactly like that 3000 page mbti manual says they should. When people who know about typology say “you act like a Fi user” even if Carl Jung says something different about you, it’s because they don’t need that! Because you come across as a certain way to them, and those behaviors (or way of thinking) you’re expressing are often associated with a function.

What to you requires “resources” and thousands of links to be explained, for them it’s the opposite. Because YOU ARE their “resource”, you’re their proof/example or whatever you call it. They don’t need anything else.

People understand you better than you think most of the time. They don’t need to know your whole story or about the trauma you went through in your past life. Because with only what you project here, the way you think is already visible for almost everyone.

So they take your behavior and associate it with the categories or system on their brain and throw it out to you.

Are they biased? Sure, they are. Ti is as biased as Fi, and that’s obvious. They are in different ways, but they still are. But why should that matter??

Just as Fi’s reasoning doesn’t make sense to anyone other than themselves and other Fi users because they’re fucking oblivious of how others percieve them, Ti’s reasoning (especially high Ti) won’t make sense to Te users either because they don’t quote thousands of peer reviewed articles about why Fi sucks.

And it’s okay if you hate all of this. unlike most “”“popular mbti blogs”“” say, you can’t get along with every single type. That’s fucking unrealistic, so don’t even try it.

That’s also the reason why Fe/Ti users don’t get along with Fi/Te users and the other way around, IRL and have to work harder to like each other. That’s completely normal.

But you all have to realize they’re NOT doing this because they hate you as a person. They have nothing against YOU, they have something against your misinformation.

And since they don’t associate their beliefs with who they are as a person, they think you’ll be the same way!! That’s why they do it. They also do it because they want a reaction, because Fe needs a reaction from people to form a conclusion.

But even if they DO have something against you for any reasons (like idk being a pedo apologist) then WHO CARES?

They’re only edgy people on the internet and you don’t know them outside of typology. You’ll probably never meet most of them IRL. And your friends and/or family will still love you for who you are. They won’t start isolating you or hating you because some rando online said all 4s or Fi users or social variants are the worst. Even if your friends do know about typology and know these blogs, they’ll keep being your friends and if they don’t they probably never were. (That would be an extremely stupid reason to breakup with a friend though)

It’s also not a secret that almost everyone on Tumblr is kinda fucked up and has mental/emotional problems. So everyone that comes here probably feels lonely and misunderstood and most of the time will be fairly young.

So I understand it most suck to come online after all the things you go through irl and then find people attacking “”“who you are”“” or the image you’re trying to project HERE TOO.

But you have to learn. You have to learn to stop taking everything so personally, to stop thinking the world is out to get you, to stop victimizing yourself, to stop running and running from the harsh truths of who you are.

Because if you reply like this to percieved “”“attacks”“” on the internet, then what happens when you go out to the world??? What will happen when your family, friends, co-workers or employees criticize something you need to change about yourself? What will happen when that bully you hate at your school keeps making fun of you for being weak??

You can’t hide yourself then, that’s what happens. You can’t block them and pretend that something isn’t happening and that you’re totally happy, because you’ll probably break in the end.

It doesn’t mean you should hide yourself either, you must defend yourself. The way you defend yourself is up to you when that happens, and whatever you choose is okay.

But online???? Why should you care? Why are you so scared of confronting them? Why are you so scared of asking yourself “"what if they’re right and I’m an infp 4 after all?”“

That won’t change anything!! You won’t die just because you have to change the type on your bio and all your followers see it happening.

So-blinds are absolutely necessary here too. And I don’t say this to defend them because they don’t need it, and because I know how annoying they can be at times (along with all their bad qualities). They’re necessary because they question everything we’re used to!!! And sometimes that’s more needed than what you think it is.

I know that if you’re a 9 or a social variant or just a born sensitive person in general, it can be scary how agressive they’re or SEEM. Sometimes you’re projecting and they’re not really angry, and sometimes they’re really angry because they’re 8s and don’t give a fuck. And that’s okay!! That’s necessary!!! Stop being so afraid!!!

Question yourself, ask questions, try to be realistic about who you are, consider if the people who criticize you may be right. Because even if they don’t have an mbti/enneagram certificate or a psychology and neuroscience degree, doesn’t mean they don’t understand this. They’ve been studying and learning on their own for YEARS. And they have enough information and awareness to know when someone isn’t who they pretend to be. Try listening to them.

And if you have mental or emotional issues outside of typology, fix that first!! Go to therapy, do things that make you a better person. And THEN find your type.

I assure you that will bring you much more clarity and peace and will finally! Help you find yourself.

“I think it’s a matter of people resorting to ad hominems when they disagree. I’ve seen it mostly as the people questioned but of course both people should keep it 100% civil and kind”

see that’s one of the main points I was trying to come across with here.

I mean I see where you’re coming from, I really do. But the problem is most of the time the mistyped people are the most defensive over these things, and you can see it if you check any of the reblogs on the last days/months. And the blogs trying to make them understand what’s wrong, are usually the ones who are right. You feel me?

I really don’t think “keeping things kind and civil” is necessary. I’m a #1 supporter of spreading love and kindness. But most of the time, that won’t make people listen to you, that won’t make them have the reaction you NEED to get so you can type them accurately.

Also what’s “keeping things civil” on the internet? This is not the United Nations or something, and being civil here won’t get you anything.

And the blogs I’m talking about here are people like @aviesaurum @midlink @hfc2x and i’m tagging them so you can check their blogs, and if you do you can see in their posts how they really don’t care about being civil. And why is that? The main reason is because they’re so blinds and also because they understand that won’t get them what they want.

And there’s no point in asking them to change because they won’t. And just as we can’t “turn off” our social variant things, they can’t stop being social blind either.

That was mainly what I was trying to explain here. I hope it makes sense, @crystalqueerz !!! C:

I think this is one of the things I mentioned re: how variants can turn on themselves to self sabotage. I can find the post again, but so has a habit of TRYING to get through to the ~10% of people who are going to dislike them and not listen to them, and resort to tactics that work with most people (so tactics). This won’t work with contraflow so without fe, and won’t work for so blinds period.

@galacticlust I’ve also noticed that, interestingly, the social variants who are most able to adapt to (or just not be bothered by) so blinds are high fe (and sometimes high Fi). Theoretically, I think it’s because fe is naturally suited to understanding people and how they work and adjusting accordingly near-unconsciously. Very seldom do I see high fe users with so keep trying to appeal to the wrong thing or trying to use ridiculous arguments (except maybe the older sfjs which can just be explained by how older SJs get very entrenched in things in general). High fe So understands the “social role” of so blinds, and works around (or through) them. The social adaptation of Fe with So is unmatchable.

As for my Fi theory, if the Fi user in general does not value others or their opinions much (or is picky about whose opinions they value), they are also less likely to give a shit about so blinds. These high Fi people tend to “own themselves” and have a high degree of self confidence (in certain areas) that only high Fi can achieve when self aware. What others do or think is completely irrelevant, and they use their So to understand social roles but don’t feel the need for everyone to always adhere to them… they just don’t care at the end of the day lol. Or they’re confident enough that they are not personally offended by the existence of things they don’t like or people doing things they don’t like. Fi selfishness has advantages in this way.

I’d like to add. Yeah, Fi selfishness does indeed have it’s advantages, it’s a good theory.

Also, Fi is subjective, so if I don’t like how people argue - which I don’t, particularly @aviesaurum - and I know a tiny bit of typology, I’m obviously not objective in that. But also, I’m not trying to be and no one needs to like someone to respect their knowledge. You can know things and not be a nice person.

Where was… right. What you’re doing when like 5 people (I didn’t count) keep Ti arguing a very defensive Fi user is boxing against a wall or being a cat trying to talk to a turtle which… honestly, my very low Te probably soc brain goes “what the fuck are these people doing and why don’t they stop?” because it’s obviously not working, so why would you keep doing that of all things possible? However, I got a pretty good explaination from @midlink, so I theoretically get it. Partly.

Standing points are, if it doesn’t work for the person you’re arguing with and they’re a Fi user, that’s not going to change quickly. Might work for other people, though. Fi isn’t Ti, Fi doesn’t constantly adjust itself, Fi is a brick wall. That you can built windows in if you want, but that takes time and is hard. I’m not whining, that’s just how it is, I like my brick wall.

Also, I’m sorry because I don’t like it either, but there’s always going to be misinformation. You can argue it, but you won’t erase all of it anyway, so I don’t think it’s worth it. People can choose if they take it, though, so… eh. You wanna do it anyway? Have fun, I guess. That was mainly to give a perspective that you don’t have because if I didn’t get everything completely wrong yesterday, arguing is how Ti learns or part of it. If you disagree or wanna correct something, please do. I don‘t need anyone to agree with me and I‘m not behavior policing, that‘s not why I‘m here.

PS: @ fellow Fi users, you guys, I wrote very defensive, so if you aren’t that, this doesn’t include you.

That’s all for now.

Yeah, the point of this isn’t really to change Fi’s minds completely, bc i know it doesn’t work that way. So if you don’t like how @aviesaurum argues then it will probably keep happening and you probably will keep disliking it lol.

But i think what you said about “Fi isn’t Ti, Fi doesn’t adjust itself, Fi is a brick wall” is exactly what these people use to know when someone is a Fi user. They’re not trying to change Fi’s perspective, but they know if someone reacts like this then they’re most likely a Fi user. And that’s okay because Fi has many advantages too.

But the only thing i think is not arguable is people need to understand they’re not against you, they’re not doing it because they’re bad people, and they’re not an evil social blind organization who wants to destroy the pure and beautiful mbti community. And now adding to this too, they’re not trying to change your mind and they don’t want everyone to think the way they do. The reasons they argue have another purpose like the ones mentioned above.

I understand why It may look like to others, but it’s not the truth.

So it’s okay if many people don’t agree with It, but they should at least understand that part.

@siriuslyjen thanks for the addition. You’re right and It was pretty interesting c:

you see, this is why fe doms must be feared and respected. this right here is exactly why
