Teo left the castle with no other company than his own and the children. Well, Ingrid. She was in the mood to play and the fact that her siblings were always together didn’t seem to help. He knew the drill as the - loneliest - youngest one.
“Come on, little one. We’re going to play.”
She had followed him out of the castle, ever curious. Mother never wanted her to stray too far, but with Uncle Teo it would be fine, right?
She waited eagerly, twirling in her dress as grinned up at her uncle.

With ease, Freya grabs the phone from her hands and goes to read it. It seems harmless enough. He wants to hang out with her. So why wouldn’t she? It didn’t seem like Connor had any BAD intentions. She’ll definitely have to ask around.

She hands Ingrid back her phone before grabbing her own and texting her friends about information on Connor. Never underestimate a teenage girl and the power of her cell phone. If there was anything that could be a MAGICAL power, it would be that.
Make a move? Oh god. Her eyes widen. Her heart races once more. She knows he’s the one who asked, but ever since the homecoming dance last, she can’t help but be nervous.
She should have seen it coming. It had been one of those cliche movie moments. Hot, popular guy asks the dorky girl out to the dance. She gets all dressed up, waits outside but when it came time for him to pick her up, he never showed.
She heard the next day he’d gone with Britney, the most popular girl in school. She had read enough stories. She really should have known. But they were supposed to be just stories...She barely left her room for a week.
Soon after, Freya finding different guy infatuations and—of course—they always liked her back. How couldn’t they? She was beautiful, confident, brave...everything Ingrid wished she could be. She started lashing out at Freya, being more condescending to her. She should said something, but she just couldn’t. She was supposed to be the older sister, but all she had been was an embarrassment.
So here she was, nervously taking her phone back as she tried to work up the courage to text him back.
