So, Dex (Colbie Smulder’s character) is confirmedly bisexual (like in the comics), yet the main love triangle of the show it’s gonna be her and two men... Also, when asked about whether the character is bisexual or not Colbie said that “yeah she sleeps around a lot”. I mean... Cmon. Disappointed but not surprised.
Unfortunately it’s still rare to see bisexuality be openly and fairly represented on network television. I hope I’m wrong about this one though and that even with this heteronormative love triangle her sexuality will be something well written and not just the girl who sleeps around and oops happens to sleep with other girls. Stumptown looks good, hopefully it won’t disappoint.
