i cannot put into words how hysterically funny the idea of connor being DOGSHIT at art is. markus is slapping out masterpieces, meanwhile fowler’s like “do a police sketch of the suspect” and connor’s biting back tears carefully outlining this thing knowing damn well he’s gonna get the death penalty

Chapters: 10/14 Fandom: Red White & Royal Blue - Casey McQuiston Rating: Mature Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Alex Claremont-Diaz/Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor Characters: Alex Claremont-Diaz, Henry Fox-Mountchristen-Windsor, Background & Cameo Characters Additional Tags: POV Alex Claremont-Diaz, Alternate Universe, Mental Health Issues, Anxiety, Depression, Slow Burn, Domestic, Getting to Know Each Other, Family, Friendship, Self-Doubt, Sexual Content

Summary: The Monarch Haven is a residential center for teenagers experiencing anxiety and depression. Alex wishes he’d had something like it when he was growing up. Still, as director of The Haven he can have the next best thing, which is helping others get the support they need.

He just wasn’t expecting an actual monarch looking for refuge at his haven. Or said monarch to be everything but how he’d imagined him.

An AU in which there is a royal scandal, everyone is clueless, and Alex has a dream other than politics for his life.
