Game Queue Updates

Hello boardgamers! When we can update you on what we have coming down the pipeline, we’ll do just that!

We have an update about the Big Easy Business project we’ve been working on with Scott Almes. The project has been cancelled. This was a mutual decision. This is a positive move for Nevermore, though we’ll miss working closely with Scott on one of his projects.

We have several exciting projects in the timeline and we’ll be making some announcements sooner than later. Stay tuned!

Dark Dealings

For Overlords of evil, doom, and sorrow, life is not fair. The local races, hackneyed halflings and dullard dwarves, fail to appreciate the time and toil that goes into perverting the laws of nature and defying death itself.

And now, after a few singed villages and poisoned wells, the locals are coming for you and your magical brethren. Stout Heroes of the land, mighty warriors and dexterous thieves, pious paladins and wily wizards, have banded together to bust down your gates and evict you from your dark castle.

Luckily, you are in contact with Dark Masters, beings man was not meant to know. They are ready to provide you dastardly traps, potent spells, and decaying corpses for reanimation, if you can demonstrate your bravery by facing the toughest Heroes.

Now it’s a competition to see which Overlord can withstand the siege. Well... you never liked your neighbors that much anyway.

Dark Dealings is a quick drafting and combat game for 2-6 players. You first draft Heroes, then use them to bid for the Defenses that will eventually be their downfall. Players then take turns flipping and fighting their previously drafted Heroes. The last Overlord standing is the winner!

Coming to Kickstarter this Summer

See our artwork get made, Live!

We’re working with Rob Lundy to create amazingly cool art for our upcoming title, Dark Dealings (by Michael D. Kelley). As Dark Overlords, players need to use dastardly traps, potent spells, and reanimated skeleton warriors to fend off heroes who want to evict them from their dark towers. Rob Lundy (@moltenink) is sharing his process live on his Twitch channel. Come hang out, ask questions, and make suggestions!

Announcing Big Easy Business by Scott Almes!

We're very excited to be working with Scott Almes (Tiny Epic Kingdoms, Kings of Air and Steam) to bring his game, Big Easy Business, to tables across the world.

In Big Easy Business, players are aspiring business moguls in New Orleans buying up businesses and attracting tourists in order to prove their savvy and best the competition. They must compete to buy and utilize nightclubs, popular restaurants, tourist attractions, trinket shops, street bands, and more. Check out the BGG announcement here for the full description and link to our game page.

3D Components!

We're working hard to get our prototypes ready for UnPub5, coming up the first week in February. We'll be heading to Baltimore, MD with at least two, maybe three prototypes. The 3D printed obelisks above are for our prototype for Skirmish Dice: Cursed Artifacts. We'll have more information up about Skirmish Dice in the future. It's still under development and early in its play testing phases.

Charity Game Night

Our Extra Life charity game day was a hit! It was only a small gathering of about 12 gamers, all close friends. We played a host of games: Ca$h 'n Gun$, Arcadia Quest, Dead of Winter, 7 Wonders, Glen More, Tragedy Looper, The Resistance, Undermining, Liar's Dice, Seventh Hero, Imperial Settlers, and finally we closed up the night with VivaJava. Those who attended donated just over $300, which will be going to the Children's Hospital at MCV in Richmond, VA.
