Wendy Darling is unhappy with her life. She is sixteen years old and the pressure on her from her family and her schoolwork and her impending future are proving to be much more than she can handle. Wendy Darling is going to jump.
She is ready to do it, she is resolute and set in her decision, but the appearance of a strange flying boy throws a wrench into her plans at the last moment when he inadvertently stops her from ending her life. He tells her he is from a magical place, a place where fairies thrive and mermaids haunt swamps and where she will have no more worries to trouble her. Reluctantly she goes; she follows the strange flying boy to Neverland. And she gets so much more than she bargained for.
