Semi trucks

Driving on a three lane highway this morning. I'm in the middle lane passing a semi. Next thing I know the semi crosses the line and comes within inches of my car! Needless to say I had a little hissy fit after I moved over to the far lane.

This song has really spoken to me hear recently.  I first heard it on a Christian radio station (the only radio stations I have saved in my car) and of course they didn't tell you the song or artist after it played.  It took my probably a month to find it!

God has pulled me out of myself using this song.  I have recently gone through a lot of job changes and struggles here I the past year.  I felt myself in a constant battle of trying to prove that I was good enough.  I had done everything the tell you to do in order to get the job you want in life and here I was... I had landed a job I had never seen myself doing but it was in my field a month after graduating college.  After seven days of training I was in love.  I had found my dream job.  An hour after that epiphany I was told that in a hundred-twenty day that job would no long because of a lose of contract with the state.  I was heart broken.  I felt the devil telling me I wasn't good enough that I had failed.

I made a world where I was constantly under attack.  There were many days where I cried and blamed God for my troubles.  Screaming "why have you done this to me I've done everything write!"  I was in the dark almost literally.

As the song says I was stuck in a cage and did not know how to get out.  But God gave all of us a key to whatever cage we get locked in.  He came and found me through his grace and gave me hope.  I know he has a perfect plan for me and I don't have to fight alone.  I don't have to fight at all really because God has already won the war and claimed his victory in all of us.

Teach Your Kids Respect!

Today I checked out a couple with two boys probably ages 13 and 10. While I was scanning their items the two boys where looking different items on the shelf in front of the register. When they left I came around the counter to go stand in front of my register and discovered that the two boys had taken everything and moved it to different areas and the display ruined! Needless to say I was ticked fixing it because the boys where old enough to know better and the patents who saw what they were doing did not even attempt to stop them! I know I don't have kids but if I saw mine do that they would be helping to fix it and apologizing for disrespecting someone's hard work.

Starting off

Well, my name's Megan and let just say that in the past year or so God has thrown me a lot of curve balls. But through a very special bunny he blessed me with last November he has taught me to hop along with what he has come my way. So in this blog the posts will probably be really random and not go together at all. I work retail so expect short little rants explaining how not to behave in a hardware store or any store for that matter. Some post will be fluff and funny while other will be quite serious.
