tubbs the cat proves why communism is always destined to fail.
you set out free food for the cats, and expect each to take their fair share. each cat is satisfied with the amount they take, and they leave enough for the other cats to have food as well. everycat is happy. there is no private property or class, as you (the government equivalent) control/provide everything for the cats. the utopian society that Marx believed could exist, exists.
until tubbs arrives. the moment he comes in, he eats all of the food. time and time again, he leaves nothing for the other cats, making them hungry and weak. and so, you must buy more food to make up for tubbs’ gluttony. this costs you money. and no matter what you buy, no matter how expensive the food is, tubbs will always eat it all.
with tubbs eating everything you put out, all you can afford to give is the free “thrifty bitz”, depriving your cat citizens of good food (sashimi, tuna bitz, etc) and new toys/items. can the cats really be happy in this society? they’re stuck eating plain, boring thrifty bitz, and they will eventually tire of the same old toys and items.
communism is supposed to be classless, where everyone gets their fare share of everything. but tubbs the cat has destroyed this, and thus, destroyed any chance of true utopian happiness in the other cats.
this proves that no matter how much you try and keep everybody happy in a communistic society, there will always be somebody who takes advantage of the system, effectively killing it.
my question is, how long will it take before we see a cat revolution? how much longer can these cats suffer because of tubbs the cat’s shameful gluttony?
