Kpop fans, listen up.
A kpop band, that debuted in November 2016, has been being physically and verbally abused. The members are MINORS (all of them are minors in Korea) and this is just now surfacing.
This is Lee SeokCheol, the eldest of the group. He turned 18 on January 11th of this year.
This is Lee EunSung, a vocalist in the group. He turned 18 on September 7th of this year.
This is Lee SeungHyun, the bassist in the group and Lee SeokCheol’s younger brother. He is 16 turning 17 on December 31 of this year.
This is Kim JunWook, the composer and guitarist of the group. He turned 16 on January 10 of this year.
This is Jeong SaGang, the rapper of the group and another vocalist. He is 15 turning 16 on October 26 of this year.
This is Lee WooJin, a vocalist and the maknae of this group. He turned 15 on April 3 of this year.
These are kids. They are being beaten by microphones, baseball bats, and choked with guitar strings. There have been death threats made against them by their producer (titled as ‘Producer A’ down below).
Their CEO isn’t much better, seeing as he allowed this abuse to happen (see down below).
We need to stand with these boys and show them our support. I’ll link their Instagrams down below.
Another note: The company and a member of The East Light (who hasn’t been named) are hosting a press conference regarding the abuse.
