Lisbon in love

One of the most noteworthy changes in Lisbon right from the start of her relationship with Jane is the glow that she has of love that has been given wings to fly, set free, that is requited and that is now possible to be spoken of, to be felt to the full and shared with the one who has occupied her thoughts, her heart for so long. Her face is bathed with radiance that she can’t conceal and nor does she try to, it’s beyond her control, because it possesses all her being, her every movement. We never saw her smile so much with happiness and pride and confidence. She’s let the man she loves know about her feelings and a huge burden is gone from her shoulders. The light that she emits must be such a delight for Jane’s eyes. After years of darkness, he has a vivid example in front of his eyes of how desperately he can be needed and how much his love can change someone, how he still has the ability to make someone happy.
