Jack was laughing. He was finally free, that was for sure. After the Hub was destroyed, losing Ianto, and sacrificing Steven he decided that he had no reason to remain in Cardiff, or in Great Britain to boot. He had stopped looking at the clock on his wrist, slowly approaching zero. “Hello, handsome…” That was when he saw the zero’s on his wrist and his eyes went wide. “Oh… Well, at least he is as devilishly good looking as myself.”
"I…yeah, I’ve lost a lot of people," he mumbled, shrugging. He hugged Jack. "But I promise….I will do everything in my power, fight tooth and nail, to keep from leaving you." He waggled his eyebrows. "You know, when I get shitfaced, I tend to get handsy. Hope you won’t mind that too much." He kissed Jack’s cheek before turning to take a few steps towards the restaurant.
"I think I like the sound of that... as for you getting handsy, that is not the slightest of problems to me." He took Dean's hand in his own, and smirked at him. "Sides, I am handsy without being shitfaced."

Owen didn’t believe what he was hearing. He felt his stomach tie in a knot as Jack continued to talk, for a moment he zoned out thinking about everything he’d done how he treated everyone Tosh especially eyes filling with tears once again he glanced up at the captain.
"T-tosh… she died when, I did? or was supposed to didn’t she?" He asked his voice cracked. He wasn’t sure how to handle this situation all of his friends were gone, he should have helped them should have gone back that night.
"Jack… I’m sorry…" He whispered through the tearful voice. "If I would have know maybe I could have done something." he mumbled. Owen snapped his eyes towards Jack, "Jack, I need to tell you something." He said leaning in across the table, "but not here can we go somewhere private?"
"Nothing could have been done, Owen. She'd lost far too much blood by the time we got to her, she would have been gone before you could arrive." He nodded to the girl and left a tenner on the table. "We should go then, where you are or to where I have been hiding away?"
He stood, looking at Owen, waiting for the other to state where they would go to talk more privately. If they went to the warehouse Jack was camped out they would have an injured pterodactyl on their hands. He had found Myfanwy just months before, trying to hunt in the fields miles from Cardiff, her wings tattered and one broken and healed wrong...
