Worlds worst cosplayer but I keep trying cause for some reason getting this right means a lot to me. Tips? Suggestions? Am I too large to be doing this?

I remember in the game she had dirt streaks and such. Maybe do the bandage around the arm thing? But that's only if you wanna go for rugged , just fought off a bunch of bad guys , look. Hello dear anon!

While I encourage you, at some point if possible, to get your hands on the manga, I know it can be very hard to find copies since Tokyo Pop went under years ago :( If you hunt on Amazon and Rightstuff, you can still find copies, I’ve gotten manga for practically 1 dollar for some volumes!

With that said, I still want to encourage folks to read the manga and have access to it, so here’s my favorite site to read the comic:

Want more Saiyuki? Well you’re in luck my friend! There’s a tooooon of Drama CDs to listen to! What’s a drama CD? You can listen to it while you read the manga, for the most part it’s a word for word retelling of the story!

A couple of things to know:

Gensomaden Saiyuki is the first series, which follows Saiyuki Vol 1 - 5/6 then from episode 25 (I think) and on is a pretty good filler arc.

Saiyuki Reload is the second anime series. It completes Saiyuki Vol 6/7 - 9. Saiyuki Gunlock has episodes about chapters from Saiyuki Reload. However, be warned, they went their own path with the final arc of the series and, well, let’s just say some people are not fond of it.

Saiyuki Gaiden and Saiyuki Ibun are prequels of the main story. Gaiden features the past lives of Sanzo, Hakkai, and Gojyo as they care for a young Goku. Ibun is a story that focuses on Sanzo’s master, Koumyou, when he was younger.

The manga is currently updated sporadically, we may get a chapter every 2 months, we may not. Sadly our favorite manga artist is ill quite often.
