A World of Games is coming to an end.
Sort of.
With the decline in tumblr over the past few months, and really the focus I’ve been putting in my main blog, www.DownStab.com, I’ve decided to officially end my arcade time on tumblr.
But my love, passion, and preservation of all things arcade games is not ending! Rather, I will be switching my attention from tumblr over to DownStab. In the past, I kept my arcade exploits exclusive to tumblr, and the rest of my video game fun on the main blog. Now, I will be incorporating all of them on the blog.
If you head over to DownStab right now, you’ll already see a handful of posts with the familiar “A World of Games” title. These are all my arcade game posts, now with commentary, history of the cabinets, and more. I think it’s a much more fluid process for me, and has been more interesting to script since there’s more to say about each game.
As for tumblr, I won’t be taking this page down. I’m also not even 100% sure I won’t come back here now and then to post some updates! But I do know I will be on here much less frequently.
I encourage any fans of this site to still follow me all over the place! I will place my socials links at the bottom of this post.
Lastly, I want to say THANK YOU to all the followers, comments, suggestions, and overall amazing things you’ve all said and done over the years. Every single time I would get a comment about someone loving a particular game, or having played the same cabinet, or when commenters would get into discussions with themselves, I would be absolutely elated. So, thank you for those unforgettable memories!
