So I remember first starting fan translating VN’s & I would come up with a translation in a few minutes but I had no one to help me with it so I wasn’t even sure if I was completely right.

Now I have a wonderful friend...very special to my heart who’s willing to help me understand & learn something I’m passionate about. I’m very blessed. She is very good at Japanese she is goals.

But yeah you see this is why I am taking forever to post now! I am taking this pretty seriously! I’m doing this to learn! No I’m not translating a whole visual novel that’s just crazy & I do not have the skills for that.

Props to anyone who DOES though it’s already a lot of work just to do PIECES but a WHOLE GAME that’s just wow...maybe...maybe one day that would be cool.

But as you can see even the pieces go through so many changes it takes a couple of times to get it right or at least adequate enough. Yeah :’) You learn to appreciate your translators a bit more when you go through it yourself. I mean I already appreciated them but now they’re like SAVIORS.

I’m not really doing this for anyone but me but if people are entertained by the translations well that makes me happy!

Hello everyone

I’m definitely still here. I just finished my fast track winter class which was speech. I did 3 speeches all 7+ minutes in less than 4 weeks that was intense I didn’t think I could do it. I don’t regret it though since I have completed my required courses.

Only problem is that my energy is still completely drained. I’ll try to pick up where I left off.

Besides that how is everyone doing? Whether we talked or not I missed you all!

Still alive

Dunno if I mentioned this but I’m taking a fast track speech class so basically it’s 3 times faster than a normal class & I have to get my work done like the day before it’s very stressing so I haven’t been updating. & then I’m too tired by the end of the day to play/focus because I really am trying to practice Japanese so I want better translations so I don’t want to half-ass that anyways yeah I’m not dead but I’m about to be by the end of this class

#rip me #a part of me hates myself for signing up but in the end i think i will be glad i got it over with #the fastest way instead of 14 weeks of hell
