“Doll. You are a special case.” He remindedh im. He took his hand and walked out. He was ready to get out of here. He hadn’t been on a vacay in a while and couldn’t wait to get out and explore. He headed towards the parking lot. “Hey, smile. Don’t worry so much. I promise hell isn’t that bad.” He bumped against his shoulder. “Plus, I will be there and I’m cute.”
Kevin smiled a little brighter at that, taking everything he said at face value, simply because he always had a genuine trust in people. And he felt strangely powerful with a hand in his as he walked around, no matter how wrong he'd been taught it was his whole life. "I'm not worried. I'm...curious," Kevin landed on eventually. He laughed softly. "You are cute. Probably the only person cute enough to tempt me off of my godly path." Kevin figured that would make Trace some kind of agent of Satan if looked at in the right light, but Kevin more saw of it as a different path. Maybe not the godly one, but not necessarily hell. He didn't think hell could feel this nice.
