We may become murderers in their eyes…

To me, this is Ichigo’s darkest moment. Not Hueco Mundo or after this when he loses his powers a second time or later during his zanpakuto struggles. This right here, when he is setting out with the sole purpose of killing someone - not fighting or defeating or accidentally turning someone into dust. He has one goal in mind, and that goal is basically murder. If anyone was to ever wonder how far far he would go for his friends and family - well now we know.
