Rae and Finn (Series 1, 2, & 3)

Ok, it’s so soon but I’m gonna do it - there’s no time like the present. From this fleeting glance I think Finn is saying something to Rae in this scene. The way his lips are pursed in the top gif it actually looks like he’s saying “you”. The intense look on her face transitioning to the smile, it’s almost as if he’s telling her something important yet serious. Something that would naturally be followed by a kiss, which is where they fade to black in the promo. I’m not saying what that something is, I’m just saying it might start with “I” and end with “you”. 

Living for this!

Why can we never know what that boy is saying? ;)

* Intense staring into her eyes. Whispers. “I am an EMU”

But.. Imagine if he really does this? Because he’s heard about the conversation Rae had with the girls (izzy lets it slip) and so he wants to see her reaction and the first time she loses it and he tells her he does love her. from then on I’m an emu becomes code for i love you

(But he also says those words too)

I love a lot of shows

But no show has made such an impact in my life like “My Mad Fat Diary”.

The story lines. The music. The 90s. The acting.

I owe so much personal growth to this show and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for series three. Now excuse me while I rewatch and reread all of it!
