“I am hungry too.” he said lowly with a smile on his lips after he noticed her stomach growling lightly. “We can buy some bread I guess. And the next lake we see we fill our bottles.”

Ashley grabbed the money from her pockets, "lake water isn't good for you." She counted. In total they had $84. If they figured out gas prices for the next few days, she figured that they could eat a bit better than bread and piss water.

“Why not? We don’t have another option so we can go there.” He chuckled now, amused she was that surprised. But then he gave her a short glimpse. “Thank you. I really like the music I do, like it seems.”

She nodded and smiled. She looked out the window and sighed in content. “When we get there… What do you think you’ll do?” She hugged her arms to her chest, digging her nails in the skin, a nervous reflex, “I’m kind of scared of being there. Alone.”

“Why alone? I thought we’ll stay together since we know everything about ourselves. And even then I couldn’t imagine to leave you behind me.” He said lowly but it was the truth.

Ashley looked over at him, “I assumed that once we found where we were from, you’d want to leave.” She shrugged, “Nevermind… It’s just that…” She sighed, “something tells me I’m used to people leaving…”

He heard her words but Andy didn’t know what to say so he just grabbed her hand on her thigh and tangled their fingers. “I don’t know who I am but I want you in my life even tho I will get to know my life sooner or later.”

The gesture made her jump slightly as she looked down to see his hand in hers and she smiled. Feeling a bit more at ease. She glanced at him and the smile only grew larger. After a while of driving, her stomach began growling. She began wondering how they could divide the money to last the few days, but math was never her strongpoint.

Andy took the CD thankfully and then both grabbed their stuff and then told Valerie their goodbyes before they eventually left her house and took the car she gave Andy last night. Both jumped in and he started the engine just to drive off quickly. “Dunno where to drive but we’ll just do it.” he said, pushing the gas pedal.

Ashley nodded, she began wondering, how could she find out more about herself. She yawned as she was still tired. She looked over at Andy as they drove off. Valerie had given Ashley her phone number, as well as enough money to get them gas and food. Ashley had told her not to, but Valerie was insistent. She sighed as she closed her eyes, trying to focus on a memory. She thought about the memories she already had, and wondered if she could fish out more information from those.

They already drove a while when Andy remembered the CD Valerie gave him so he took it in the CD-player of the car. Frowning he was still looking on the street but listened to the sound and the voice of the singer he could hear now.

Ashley listened to the sound and it reminded her of her own band. Then suddenly, she had a memory, not one that made her thrash and shake, but she stared off as her nose began to bleed. Music, a crowd, a festival. It was wonderful. Tears began rolling down her cheeks. When she snapped out of it, blood had been dripping down her chin. She reached for a box of tissues in the car and she began cleaning up her face. She didn’t sob, she didn’t shiver. She was silent. “Andy…?”

“Yep?” He still stared on the road but had his attention with Ashley.

She grabbed more tissues, feeling disgusted by the blood loss, “did… Did we know each other?” She felt the blood slow down, “before we were… Taken?”

He now pushed the brakes and stared at Ashley with widen eyes. “Why do you think we know each other before?” He gasped now, turning down the music as he finally noticed her bleeding nose so he helped her cleaning her chin. “I can’t remember. I am just sure know I am Andy Biersack, singer of Black Veil Brides.” he sighed.

She nodded, “I just… Thought of something… It’s nothing I guess.” She felt woozy, I think I just need to calm down or something. Maybe I need to stop trying to dig for my memories.“ She groaned, “they’re making me weak.” She whispered. “I’m sorry.” She sighed.

“It’s okay, don’t worry about it. I guess our memories will hit us soon.” He sighed then, pushing again the gas pedal.

She nodded. She turned away and left him alone to drive. She drifted off to sleep. A few hours later, she woke up, she sat up and yawned. She looked over at him, “I can drive if you need.” She sighed, “where are we going?”

“I still don’t know. I just try to leave them behind us as far as possible for another night.” he mumbled, his eyes still kept on the road with a frown. “Did you sleep well at least?”

She nodded. She began thinking for a moment, “what about LA?” She sighed, “Valerie said that someone with a lot of money would want us erased.” She began thinking, “I just wonder who that could have been… You know?”

“Mh, true.” He frowned again, then pushing the gas pedal again. “Let’s do it. We’ll drive to LA.”

Ashley cocked an eyebrow, looking at him with a small smile, "really?" She looked out the window, "I'm actually shocked that you take my advice." She chuckled. She looked down at the radio, aware that it was still playing his CD, she felt the emotion and the rasp in his voice was originally interesting, "you sound really talented."

This was bad. So very bad because he couldn’t take his mind off of what had happened earlier that night and yeah, he wasn’t new to the superhero gig but still. It felt off today for some reason yet he couldn’t figure out why. “God, I love you.” With his words reduced to whispers, the young man stole a quick kiss though capturing her bottom lip between his teeth before playfully pulling then releasing. “And I hope you know that I really missed you today..” That was the truth and nothing but the truth- he was willing to prove that no matter what happens, he’ll always feel the same way about her.

She smiled and ran her fingers through his hair, she felt the strange vibes and backed up for a moment, “is something wrong Jimmy?” She asked with a worried tone, “you seem like your mind is elsewhere at the moment.” She moved some hair from his face and cupped his cheek gently. “I missed you too baby.” She whispered, “I’m worried sick about you sometimes.”

Cursing himself for being distracted by the events that had taken place hours before this moment, Jimmy shook his head from one side to the other while offering a simple smile. “Nothing’s wrong. Just thought about your surprise. Still working some things out but it should be ready tomorrow.” He whispered underneath his breath and leaned his forehead against hers. “Same to you, sweetheart. Especially when you travel.”

Ashley sighed, she placed a kiss on his cheek before breaking away to get herself something to drink from the fridge, "well, I'm excited to see what it is." She chuckled. "It's sweet that you worry about me, and don't worry, since we've been working on the new album, I won't be traveling too much for a while." She smiled.

Kyoto looked at her softly and shivered. He had been attacked and was alone in an allyway. He looked at the woman softly. “Are you going to hurt me?” he asked gently.

“I never had any siblings and I was alone most of my life.” he said as he played with his hands.

Dahlia frowned, “I’m sorry to hear that.” She sighed. She looked at the time and stood up, “tell you what, you can stay here if you have nowhere else to go. What brings you to the city anyway?”

“I was going to meet all of my subscribers and go a game competition. I’m only here for a short while before I head back to Dublin for a while.” he said gently. “Thank you lass”

"Subscribers? Game competition? Dublin?" She paused for a moment but then found herself laughing, "I almost forgot that I had helped you and let you sleep in my house without even knowing who you are really." She chuckled.

Valerie shrugged and smiled, “it was alright.” She nodded as she brought over the food. Ashley smiled at the sight and put some sugar in her coffee. She liked it black.

“Black but sweet huh?” Andy noticed when Ashley poured sugar in her coffee but no milk. He loved it all black instead so he took a sip right away as he chuckled. “Oh Valerie, before I forget. I think I’ve dreamt about my parents last night. Since you know so much about Ashley, do you know anything about me? Am I someone famous as well?”

Ashley glanced up and smiled as a response, giving him a slight nod as she took a sip, “I feel like I’ve always liked it that way.” Valerie stopped eating her food for a moment and glanced up at Andy, she cocked an eyebrow in questioning, “I can’t recall. But you might be. Who knows? I bet if my boyfriend were-” she suddenly stopped for a moment and snapped her fingers, “tell you what, I’ll give him a call. He’s a roadie after all, he’s supposed to know all the latest names in music.”

Now he widened his eyes in surprise but nodded then and watched Valerie taking her phone and waiting the other would answer.

Ashley looked over at him, “do you have a feeling about it?” She cocked her head to the side, “about what you do, I mean.” She took another sip of her coffee and listened for Valerie.

“Dunno. But I have the feeling I am a singer…” he murmured staring in the cup of coffee in front of him

Ashley nodded and looked at him intently, wondering if he was right. Valerie walked back in the dining room and sighed, “well, since we don’t know your last name, it’s a bit tough. But he sent me a list of bands with a vocalist named Andrew. It’s a bit lengthy, but I bet we can figure it out.” She smiled reassuringly.

Surprised about it Andy just nodded without giving her an answer. “Okay maybe I’ll remember my last name when I read it.” He said now, shrugging his shoulders.

Valerie began reading off names she came to a name which made her cock an eyebrow, “Andrew Biersack of the band Black Veil Brides?” She moved some hair from her face, “sounds like an interesting band.” Ashley glanced over at him, trying to remember anything.

As he heard the name of the singer and the bands name he stared at Valerie in shock but suddenly stood up and leaned on the table. “That’s it!” He said out loud, still staring in disbelief. “Something is telling me that’s my name and MY band!”

Valerie looked at him with wide eyes as she chuckled, “well, I actually think my boyfriend might have a CD of yours. I bet he would be alright if you took it to listen to on your drive.” She smiled. Ashley looked up at him, giving a small smile, she was genuinely happy that he was finding more things about himself every day.

“But we’ll probably never see us again.” He sighed but then looked at Ashley with a soft smile. “Do you think it’s me?”

Valerie shrugged, “we live close to a record shop, I think he can manage to buy another one.” She smiled as she put her hand on her hip, “let me go find it.” Ashley thought for a moment and nodded, “your name sounds familiar, I think it could be.” She smiled. “And with your looks and the fact that you have a lot of fans, I bet you got a girl waiting at home for you.” She smiled, trying not to show the fact that she was jealous and worried that she was right. What was she even jealous for? He wasn’t hers, she barely knew him.

“I don’t think a girl is waiting for me but at least it would be great to know who I am.” He shrugged his shoulders and looked then after Valerie.

Valerie went to a drawer filled with CD's, after digging a while, she found one. She walked over and handed it to him, "there you are." She smiled, though it quickly faded when she realized the time, "you best be on your way. They'll be looking for you both." She nodded and walked over to ashley, giving her a strong hug. Ashley smiled at the gesture and hugged back, "thank you, so much. I promise that when this is all over, I'll owe you for the rest of my life."
