the fact is, israel now definitely realises that no one believes its bullshit anymore, especially seeing the mass movement and huge shift in narrative in response to its ongoing war against Gaza. this tells israel that the mask is now completely off and the masses no longer believe its claims of being the victim and whatever the hell else.

this explains why the scale of violence has been so overwhelming in recent weeks, considering there is nothing for israel to justify anymore and no pretences to keep up for those who used to fall for them.

there is also the sense of embarrassment; a whole military apparatus with billions in annual aid still could not break a besieged, starved enclave (it never will). we have been hearing about ground invasion this, ground invasion that and we have yet to see anything tangible.

again, the public for the most part has now seen who israel really is; a genocidal, terrorist state, and israel knows there's no turning back from this so it ramped up the violence to cause as much damage as possible before it is forced to halt its current acceleration of the ongoing genocide.

U.S. officials are literally telling israel to "pause" so that people can ease up a little and be lulled back into complacency. always remember this and let's keep doing what we're doing because the tides have really turned.

Transcript: So I was talking to a Palestinian friend yesterday. He lives in the West Bank and he sent me this very scary image of a photo of him with a target on his face and he told me that this photo was found on a Israeli settler group chat, and there are other images of Palestinians circulating on this group chat, where they are basically hunting Palestinians and killing them. They have already been successful at killing some of the Palestinians in this group chat, and under the photos of these Palestinians they have their names, where they live, their age, their occupation. Basically they make up like, you know this person hates Jewish people, this person calls for the death of Israel. My friend works for a humanitarian organization. So they are making these false claims to justify them killing Palestinians.

My immediate response was to tell him that he needs to get out of town, to leave his city. And he tells me that there's no way for him to leave the city because the IDF is patrolling the main roads and the Israeli settlers are patrolling the back roads. So for him to leave right now would be a suicide mission. And I think for many people, you would think if you were in his position, you would call the police or the army. Palestinians don't have an army. Palestinians have something called the Palestinian Authorities and they work directly with Israel. They sell Palestinians out, they do not protect Palestinians. And this is the realisation of the experience of a Palestinian. That there is no one protecting Palestinians.

In this group chat where Israeli settlers are sharing photos of Palestinians, they have already been successful in killing some of the Palestinians. In the group chat that whose photos they are sharing. This is a very scary situation. And I wanted to share this with you guys. Because I want you to understand the gravity of this situation. There are people who are actively killing innocent Palestinians and there is no one there to hold them accountable. They are working in the favour of the Israeli government. The Israeli government is so far right that they look at these Israeli settlers, who are committing acts of violence on Palestinians, as their heroes.

Right now all eyes are on Gaza, which is very understandable. But there is something happening in the West Bank. There is a slow genocide and ethnic cleansing that has been happening for the past decade in the West Bank. And right now Israeli settlers, Israeli government and Israeli army are using this to their advantage. And I wanted to share this with you guys, because I want you to know that these Palestinians in the West Bank - they have no army, there is no Hamas there. There is no one coming to protect them. Majority of my Palestinian friends live in the West Bank. And I feel it is my moral obligation to try to do anything I can to save them. Even if it means just letting you know the truth of what is happening.

i think what pisses me off the most is that last year, nobody had trouble going against russia. companies dropped everything so they could keep russians off their sites, to block them from their news articles and to sanction in other ways. eurovision kicked it out. even steam, discord, any fucking western apps or websites have been so willing to perform in ‘activism’. musicians and celebrities speaking out and country-blocking their work, and so much more. but now what? where is all of that now for israel? where are all the brands leaving the country to ‘protest’? where is anything? what pisses me off the most is that none of them have actually really cared about ukraine, ever, and none of them care about palestine now.

Some of you may have seen this post that I made a little over a week ago, and the sad truth is that the updated situation means that I still need help. It makes me absolutely sick to my stomach to have to make this post, but I am at the most desperate I have been in my entire life, without any exaggeration.

A quick recap of what’s happening (detailed explanation will be under the cut):

My cat is around 7 years old, and this is literally the first time in his life he has been sick in any way at all. I have a small insurance on him that I pay to each month that allows me to get one annual check-up for him including vaccinations. I keep him on vet approved food, and he has been indoor cat for 5 years. The vet always raves about how healthy and happy he is, how well-behaved he is, and how gorgeous his fur is. I treat this cat like he was my baby - because he is.

I am a queer woman who is on disability funds because I am too mentally ill to get an education or have a job. I don’t even own anything I can sell to be able to pay for this. I have no options. I realize that this is an absolutely absurd amount of money to ask for, but I genuinely do not know what else to do.

I am at the end of my rope; Cas is my everything, my entire world, and this past week has been absolute hell. Any tiny bit will help. Even if you can’t afford to donate anything yourself, please reblog. I am quite literally on my knees begging. Thank you so much, in advance!

UPDATE 29 JUNE 2022 -

Today I took Cas to have his CT scan, and they found that the cancer is still limited so they can remove a piece of his jaw without compromising his quality of life, and it has not spread to his lungs. This means that I will be taking him in for surgery tomorrow.

They were kind enough to say the payment can be put into chunks, but I still have to pay in less than six months, which is frankly impossible for me when I also have to pay rent and bills and just try to survive in this ridiculous inflation.

I have sold a couple of things, and I have cut some things to save money, and some very incredibly lovely people have made truly generous donations. But even all this considered I am nowhere near what I need.

I know it’s a lot to ask but please please please keep reblogging this post. I am taking him in for surgery tomorrow no matter what, because I have to save his life. But how to pay the following bill I honestly don’t know at this point. So please. Just please.

UPDATE 1ST JULY 2022 -

The surgery went really, really well, and they removed the part of the jawbone with the tumor. He is home and safe now, and he’s been sleeping all day, but other than that he’s acting like normal. I’m still struggling to put together the money to pay the bill, so I am still on my knees begging for help. I am so sorry, but so incredibly thankful for any help you can offer.
