“The former Republican Speaker of the House from the late Clinton and early Bush years, Dennis Hastert, was indicted by a federal grand jury yesterday on unspecified banking fraud charges — which have just been revealed: 
Hastert was caught evading rules governing withdrawals of cash in amounts exceeding $10,000. The money was used to pay $3.5 million in hush money to cover up allegations of sexual misconduct with a male from his hometown. At the time, Hastert was a high school wrestling coach and teacher in Yorkville, Illinois; it has now been confirmed that it was with a student.”

More right-wing conservative coverups, child abuse, and hypocrisy.  Everyone practice their surprised face.  My thoughts are with his victim/s.

Cat Burned In House Fire Offers Support, Snuggles To Other Animals At Veterinary Hospital

Russell the cat has spent the last year and a half at a North Carolina veterinary clinic recovering from a fire that burned his face and body, made him lose the tips of his ears, and destroyed his family’s house.

As he’s been getting better, Russell’s also been snuggling up with lots of new pals as they undergo their own treatments.

i’ll be like 40 w/no kids and people will say “aw i’m so sorry for you” and i’ll be like how was the fucking wiggles reunion tour asshole i went to italy last week for fun and didn’t have to hire a sitter

This is a very sad mentality. To think oneself more important than that of progeny is the sign of a failed human life.

so the wiggles concert wasn’t as good as you thought it would be huh

some annoying older woman: haha i would NOT want to raise a girl in this day and age! having her walk around in short shorts with her whole butt hanging out! I would go mad! so glad i have boys :)
me: yeah I wouldn't want a daughter either bc it would completely break my heart to see people sexualize her for wearing shorts when it's hot out and then blame her for getting sexually harassed... but thanks for that comment phyllis. im sure you're also so far removed from the realities of 2015 that you're also blissfully unaware that almost all of the shorts marketed to teenage girls and young adult women are impractically short to the point where even they don't like it, though they don't have a ton of options. but thanks anyway. your sons are probably gonna grow up to be meninists
